I bought this cuz the caulk kept cracking due to unevenness between the floor and bathtub. Having a toddler who loves to put water out of the bath it was a mess. It causes water to leak and go down in my ceiling in the basement. So I saw this alternative and thought it would be a great solution. It also looks way better than caulk in my opinion. It just looks more neat and clean. The true test in over time if it actually holds up. But my initial feeling on it are great. It was easy to install. So glad I found this product as I’ve unsuccessfully tried the gun applied caulk in a tube and the squeeze tube caulk with disastrous results. After cleaning up the prior messes I rolled out the caulk tape, removed the backing tape and applied the tape as directed to a clean dry surface and completed my bath tub caulk within 30 minutes - no messy caulk or hands to clean. 2 months later the caulk tape is still clean and adherent to the tub and wall surfaces. I love the fact that it has a thickness to it. I wanted to use it to cover sharp furniture areas, such as my desktop. I also use it to cover the thin opening between my stove and cabinet. It does these jobs beautifully and the adhesive holds perfectly. I am so glad I found this item. It is designed to be able to easily fold in the middle and covers sharp edges nicely, safely, and perfectly. It is a must to have in the home for all sorts of chores which no other item can handle.
