  • Constructed with multi-layer 30 Ton premium carbon blank - compact and lightweight - stronger and lighter than most other travel (telescopic) rods

  • Stainless steel guides with zirconium inserts - offer similar performance to SiC but are not as brittle, meanwhile offer superb hardness, thermal dissipation, and a low coefficient of friction
  • Machined aluminum reel seat is precisely positioned and balanced - the result is enhanced durability, improved casting distance, more sensitivity, and superb fish-fighting control
  • Travel and fish anywhere with a convenient and economical option now - theres no excuse when you go somewhere and see some fishy water; Conveniently collapses to a reasonable length - fits in most average luggage or easily stowed behind the seat of your car

  • Compact , Durable and Strong.
Style: 7’0”-medium-fast
This is a great telescopic rod! It collapse so small I can fit it in my backpack when I'm on the road or when I'm moving spot at the lake. It has a fast tip which allows you to cast a great distance, even with the light lures or bait. I've collapse it and stretched it at least a hundred times so far and it has not lost its tightness. Its firm everytime. I've caught a good amount of bass, carp, crappie with it and it handles them all very well. The only negative thing I may have to say is that from time to time the bottom "nut" that holds the reel in place comes loose. Nothing drastic and the reel stays in place but it does get old after a while. Adding something like tape or even a rubber band helps prevent it from loosening up. Other than that it's a perfect rod! Highly recommend! ... show more

  • If you are even a little bit serious about fishing dont buy this
Style: 6’0”-medium-fast
Junk! Plain and simple. Lightweight, yes very but what's the point if its unfishable? The rod is flimsy as can be. I gave it to my young daughter. If you have fished more than a few times in your life you will know this rod is not acceptable. It's like an ultra ultra light. It's hard to control in your hand. The eyelids never stay in one spot when using. Requires constant adjustment when using. Good thing is, looks neat and it folds down. Other than that nah not for me atleast. ... show more

  • Build out the handle with TommyTape and you have a great rod
Style: 6’0”-medium-fast
This is a strong and lively little kayak spinning rod. I fish for smallmouth bass and this rod has some backbone and touch. And I like the idea that it is 30 ton fiberglass carbon. But the handle was way too skinny. So I wrapped it with Tommy tape. With thicker at both ends and woven in the middle. I think it will work. I have a kastking zephyr 4000 on it. You might think that is over large but I get a lot less line twist and it is not too large for the rod. The Tommy tape also helps balance the rod. This is a must do on these telescopic BassDash rods. The line guides are very strong and will stay straight I can tell. With this handle modification I give the rod of five star without it only a 3 star. Now one of my 6-foot rods broke into pieces while I was setting the drag 8 pound line. Also one of the grommet pieces dropped out and I had to glue it back in ... show more

  • Broke
The 12' model is cheap, but very sensitive. The hook got stuck, I first tried to yank it out, then I pushed the rod behind me with the tip in my hand and with the other hand I tried to pull on the line. At some point the 2nd segment from the tip down snapped and broke in two. I don't think, I put that much tension on the rod. A 5 lb fish would probably have caused the same. ... show more

  • Loose eyelets
Style: 7’0”-medium-fast
Sadly, this pole isn’t really made well. The eyelets popped off channel the first time I used it. They are just loose and swing freely around the base. It is a good looking pole but it needed some quality control. I fixed the eyelets with JB Weld.

  • Lightweight but packs a punch!
Style: 7’0”-medium-fast
The Bassdash Alien travel rod is lightweight, but still strong enough to bring in chunky fish. The 7ft medium action rod is a great rod for hiking, pond hopping, or fishing while traveling. My rod with a size 20 reel fit right into my hiking backpack. Rod was sensitive enough to feel small bites, but had the backbone to land a 3lb largemouth. Sets up and breaks down in seconds. ... show more

  • Strong and balanced
Style: 7’0”-medium-fast
Looks good and locks up tight in extension. Weight is balanced with a good feel. Floating eye needs to be adjusted on occasion as it drifts left to right but not an issue. Just an adjustment every now and then. Would recommend. Well worth the money. It lives in my truck for those must fish moments. Except for the floating eye adjustment this is a five star item. ... show more

  • Not what I expected
Style: 7’0”-medium-fast
Cheap product .......thought I'd spend the extra money to get something quality I even took the time to make a hard PVC case for it prior to traveling it snapped at the 3rd eye on the very first fish I hooked up on here in Mexico.......about a 3lb permit from what I could tell
