Finally I decided to get rid of the original long, bulky, ugly antenna. This one looks good, easy to install and it actually works. I cannot say how good - I don’t listen the radio, but I can confirm that I can tune at the same stations from the same spot after I swapped the antennas. The only shortcoming that I see so far is that the diameter of the bottom of this antenna does not match with the diameter of the foundation pad, so it makes a visible line where the antenna is connected and overall looks not a smooth as I wish. This antenna has a nice sturdy feel to it and seems well made. I have not put it through the car wash test yet but I think it will be fine. I like how the spiral wrapped line design mimics the look of the original mast.

Not sure it’s tall enough. Works great if there are no trees but otherwise it doesn’t get great reception. We’ve checked all connections and the radio is new. Old antenna works but this one is hit or miss.
