I got my set of headphones almost a week ago. These will be used by 9th graders in Music Technology Classes. I've been using them myself before I hand them to students so I can figure out how they work with our programs and Chromebooks. So far I'm very satisfied that these will be good headphones for my students. They have a nice sound. They block a lot of outside sounds out so that is good with teenagers. The microphone was an added feature that I wasn't expecting, but after trying it, the microphone works well. If I can get more budget money in the future I would definitely go with these headphones again to replace the ones that my students currently have access too. My only concerns are the following: 1. The microphone arm only rotates one side so it has to be on the left side to be used. I hope that students don't force it and break it the first time they use it. 2. For an adult head they aren't the most comfortable, but for teenagers who will be using them I think that won't be an issue. 3. I like that the cord is fabric, but I'm worried about where it connects to the headphones. It's a very small connection and I'm worried that it will break, but I could be worried for nothing. ... show more

These headphones have the teacher WOW factor. My students love them! If you’ve ever bought a 20+ pack of “bargain” headphones and then replaced them before the end of the school year, then this is the review for you: 1. Comfort: Student don’t complain about using the headphones for an extended period of time. They don’t fall off, and they don’t pinch their growing noggins. A win-win for learning with videos and digital lessons. 2. Durability: Notice how the headphone jack is already bent at a 90 degree angle? It’s like they thought of everything! Initial testing is that they have good sound, and seem pretty study, compared to similarly-priced options. I will update on the durability and microphone throughout the school year. Fit is good for high schoolers, if a bit tight.

The media could not be loaded. These Barks Classroom Headphones have been a total game-changer for my classroom! The sound quality is great for the price, immersing students in their educational content. The built-in boom style microphone captures little voices clearly for interactive lessons and testing. Unfortunatley I can't give a great rating because one of the headphones cannot be used at all because no sound comes through. In the set, a couple others have a very low volume which makes it difficult for students to use.
