I think I ordered the larger pair thinking that these pants would be too short in the legs. I am a 34 waist and 32 inch inseam, and I ordered the 2 xl. I will use these under armor pants under my snowmobile suit and ski suit. The pants are very light weight and made with a sheer material which is breathable. The plastic protective pads are small on the knees and move around a lot until you strap them on tighten which does bind a little behind the knees. These pants would work well for any sport were there is the risk of falling on the ground. ... show more

    • Great for Mountain Biking.
I got these for downhill mountain biking as I wanted added protection for my hips and tailbone. I really like the built in padding and the armor plates are all in the right places and I definitely think these will help the next time I crash, which will happen! I like the fact that these are lightweight and not overly hot. All of the armor is sewn in place and seems like very good quality. The sizing is a bit odd, as with most direct from China sellers, they just don't seem to convert sizes accurately. I read another reviewer where he said he was 5'10 and 175 got a 2XL, so I bought the same thing. Unfortunately these are a bit big. The knee pads want to sit a bit low for me. They are adjustable, but having them too tight is not that fun, and kinda defeats the purpose of having built in knee pads. So if your 5-10 and 175, I would advise a size down or so. The worst part about these tho is that the manufacturer decided to sew a very bright white plastic logo right in the middle of the butt, talk about ridiculous! I mean what were they thinking! Just weird. So walking around in public you will be the butt of all the jokes! So I will be getting a seam ripper and ripping that off right away! Got these to wear under my pants for dual sport trail riding with my motorcycle. There is plastic "hard" armor and padding underneath on the hips and knees. There is also more soft padding on the hips as well as the seat. While this padding and armor isn't CE rated, I think for trail use it will be perfect as an add-on. The description also recommends these for sports, etc. such as hockey. I happen to be a hockey player and I don't know that these are an add-on that I would bother with. The upper half maybe, but the knee armor would interfere too much with shin guards. I would consider these for pond hockey or a light practice though. I do like these and plan on getting lots of use out of them. One improvement would be for the knee armor to be a little bit larger, it's kind of on the small side and I don't exactly have big knees. Also, note that I think these pants run a little small so I would size up. Otherwise, a good buy. ... show more

These armor pants are good a little thin but they do the job my husband wears them over his jeans when he goes quad riding the protective pads are a plus and good quality. I ordered a size 2Xl for him he wears 31x32 in jeans is 6’1 and they were a little big a size Xl would have been perfect.

The size chart is accurate and should fit most people true to size. Just make sure to look at the chart because most 5’10” 176lb men wouldn’t consider themselves an XXL! These are comfortable and I bought them to wear under looser jeans for added protection while riding my motorcycle and they’ll work well for that. At under $50 current selling price they’re a good value. Only negatives are 1: You need to pull them very high up on your waist to have the lower back support in the correct position. If it’s not pulled way up, you wind up sitting on part of the back support. 2: the armor is not CE rated so this isn’t certified to protect you the way other armored gear is. So I’d only use for dirt bike riding or lower speed motorcycle riding. I wouldn’t wear this while riding anything close to highway speeds. ... show more

These are very lightweight but comfortable to wear and I love them. They have padding for the hips, legs, and for your bottom. The fit is just right to where their not so tight to move around in and ride. Definitely Recommended Item Thank You & God Bless
