This cute pink cash register is perfect for any age (even as young as three!) The batteries were easy to insert, and the buttons sound like a cash register from an actual store. The paper money and plastic coins are perfect for this set, allowing kids to "sell" things to their family and friends. It is a genuine calculator with addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division (and decimals) allowing early learning to be fun and playful. It is a little difficult to hear what is being said into the microphone (through the speaker) though when you yell into it (as kids usually do) it is easy to hear. I was disappointed to hear that the credit card "swipe" noise was the same "beep" as the buttons, as I had hoped it would be slightly different since it is a different action. I am so impressed by this toy cash register! It was packaged well when it arrived and easy to set up including installation of the batteries. My grandchildren absolutely adore this new addition to the playroom. My grandchildren love using this cash register to play either restaurant or store. They love that it comes with money that looks "real" and makes realistic cash register sounds. My grandchildren are ages 9, 8 and 5 and they absolutely love this toy. Price was a little high compared to the others on the market ($40 at time of purchase). It works pretty well and has a good amount of currency with it. Not something I would purchase again, but keeps the kids entertained for a bit.

I got this for my 2.5 year old niece because I had one as a kid that I was obsessed with. Sure enough, she can't put it down--it's her new favorite game. This classic never fails! Definitely recommend.

    • Hours of imaginative play & fun
We’ve been fortunate to have our young niece spending more time at our house and we thought this would be a great toy as our own kids used to love playing with the cash register when they were young. A few observations: * The design is the right mix of toys but still feels enough like a cash register that it feels like there is some good education in learning to count the money and give back “change” while playing grocery store * We combined this with plastic food and the kids have entertained themselves for hours playing grocery store / restaurant / and “dinosaur mall”, where they take our order and make use our meal and then check us out at the register. * The register is easy to set up, the batteries seem to last a long time, and the fake money is real enough that the kids learn to be a bit greedy in hoarding it when we give them a tip. Overall, this is a great toy that is fun to play with and helps your kids to learn some basics about money, counting, and even making announcements about items that are on sale. ... show more

BAODLON Pretend Play Calculator Cash Register is a very well made educational and pretend play toy. When on, it works almost like a real register: kids can use calculator to add up items; they can push the "Open" button, and the register will open on its own; and they can speak through the microphone which works just loud enough for a pretend play. This is a great little toy for kids! It's not too big so it should fit in most spaces. The microphone is a big hit, my girls love it, and it's loud enough to for the kids to be immersed, but not loud enough that it will bother parents. All the buttons beep, the calculator works, everything works as intended. There is a real bell that rings when you open the register, rather than an electronic one, which is cool. The money is fun, its just as you'd expect of any play money. The coins are plastic, not metal or paper. Overall a great little register, the only thing it's missing is a beeper!
