What do you do when your 'frig is always crowded and it's a royal pain trying to find what you need? In our case, we have lots of beverages (milk, soda, juice, beer) and they seemed to always be in the way of finding actual food, so we opted for a small 'frig for just the beverages. After researching what seemed to be nearly every small refrigerator on Amazon and elsewhere, comparing square footage, features, finishes, freezer styles, and prices, we chose this one. PRO: Nice size! It can easily hold all our beverages, making it easier to locate food in the main 'frig. It can hold six cans in the door along with a couple of 2-liter bottles of soda, and the shelves are adjustable for those 16.9 ounces bottles of soda - the top shelf easily holds a dozen of them standing upright. Other shelves can be positioned to accommodate bottles laying down (fits six across easily), the third shelf houses two 12-packs of cans, and the little crisper drawer is great for odds and ends, like snacks. Looks nice in the den. Never thought I'd want a 'frig in the den, but this one has a nice silver finish on the doors and a black, no-fingerprint surface on the sides. It doesn't look out of place next to a bookshelf. Well made. It arrived in a sturdy box with lots of packaging and reinforcements to keep it from getting dented, but then again, it's made of sturdy metal which wouldn't have easily been damaged. Inside and out, it's easy to see that some thought and ingenuity went into this 'frig. We've owned those little cube-type 'frigs, and this one is in a different league. Reasonable price. We managed to get it while it was on sale, so the price was within our budget. Now that we have used it for a couple of months, I can honestly say we got a really good deal. I don't expect the savings to be eaten up by additional costs to the utility bill either. It seems to be a real energy-mizer. Cold! It took less than an hour to reach a very cold temp, and at level 2! It has kept everything in it exceptionally cold on a rather low setting. Ample freezer. We really didn't want to get a freezer because most are tiny, have to been defrosted often, and are located in the same compartment as the 'frig. This one is huge compared to what those little cube-types offer and after a couple of months, we're not seeing a build-up of frost which we expected since we live in humid Florida. It holds a lot of food and keeps it solidly frozen. Con: I'm nit-picking here, because what in life is perfect? Nothing. But this little 'frig comes mighty close! Like my regular-size 'frig, I hear it come on and off and that's no big deal. Everyone in a while I hear some slight vibration, but then again, we live in a house that was built in the 40s, so the floor isn't level. You can shift it ever so slightly and the vibration goes away. A couple of small felt furniture pads might also do the trick (dang! I just gave myself another project!). We have a large family, One large 30 Cu.Ft. Fridge and Two Large 30 Cu.Ft. Upright Freezers. With my wife and I and our three teenage boys, we purchase a lot of food! Our problem is with one fridge, well I buy more than I need sometimes. Where do we store it? I looked for a small refrigerator on Amazon and reviewed many but decided on this BANGSON 4.0 Cu.Ft. Model and I tell you we do not regret it. We placed it in our spare room, where the black color I ordered fits the décor perfectly. It was delivered in five days without damage (thank you, Amazon). The box was perfect and packaged very well. It is not very heavy, but I did have my fifteen-year-old help me unpack and move it into the Kitchen. As with all deliveries of Fridges/Freezers, you always unpack and let them sit for 24 hours before you plug them in to let them settle after moving to protect the appliance's internal parts and to ensure that the fridge continues to work to maximum efficiency. When moving a refrigerator, the compressor oil can leak into the system, causing a blockage if the appliance is turned on too quickly. I was very impressed with the care of the packaging inside the fridge and freezer, with everything taped and all glass shelving having Styrofoam pieces. Nothing was broken. I also noticed four pieces I could not find in the manual (men do not read manuals), and for about two minutes, I needed help figuring out what they were meant to be connected to. I finally guessed that these were for the two ends of the glass drawers, one for the left and the other for the right. They clip onto the glass and are meant to lock the shelves in place from moving. I plugged it in the next day, and it was very quiet! It has plenty of room for the extras that I over-purchased. While not huge, it solved an issue for us and our home. So far, several days in, it is working beautifully and quietly! I highly recommend this fridge if you need that extra storage. It would also be ideal for a College/University student and a dorm. I could also see this for any Man Cave, RV Camping, or spare room in the home. WE LOVE IT! ... show more

    • Pretty, but Noisy

I wanted to love this mini-fridge. It is very attractive. It is like a miniature that would be perfect if you wanted to build a child a play kitchen. It is too loud to sleep near. I've had it two weeks and it is rarely silent. Quiet for a few minutes then your can hear the slight buzz of the motor start up. That could just be white noise, but there is also a sort of crackling noise that continues on even after the motor has stopped. I do not know how much power this constant struggle is drawing. It came with a minor dent that is barely visible. Both freezer and fridge are working fine. Might be okay in a garage or larger room where no one sleeps. UPDATE: it was set at 3. I adjusted it to a little below 2. it is much quieter and motor runs less often. UPDATE 2: The seller contacted me and offered a refund. I needed overflow storage for our apartment fridge and this fit the bill nicely. I like how it is narrow and tall – it doesn’t take up a lot of floor space, but has the storage volume to fit larger objects like a gallon of milk that has traditionally been a challenge for me to store in a mini-fridge. The fridge is efficient and runs quietly. It came well-packaged and was easy for me to move by myself. This has been an inexpensive fix to my cold storage needs in an apartment.
