Top Amazon Reviews

  • Steep price but amazing quality
Color: Black
Not sure about all the bad reviews, but the buds work as described. Material and build quality is excellent as expected from any Bang and Olufsen product. Sound quality is also great, with a balanced sound that can be tuned through the app to your preference. Connection is strong and easy to pair, I've had no problem with the buds connecting to my phone every time I take them out of the case. The app is intuitive and does exactly whats needed, no complaints there. As far as comfort goes, buds are comfortable and very stable, find out which tip and fin combination best suits you, put them on properly (as with most true wireless earbuds you need to twist them into your ear, almost like you're screwing them in) and you should have no complaints. My right ear canal is shaped differently but thats not an issue when I put these in properly and securely. As far as noise canceling, if you are looking for active noise cancellation, that is absent here, but for me that is not an issue, the passive noise cancellation is more than enough and at less than half volume, most sounds are cancelled out. There are 4 transparency modes, the lowest being none and the highest essentially muting the music, but the middle 2 settings work well in allowing you to listen to the earbuds while also hearing your surroundings. The touch controls are intuitive and easy to use, albeit a bit sensitive but this is only an issue when putting them on and even then the design of the buds makes it easy to put them on without touching the controls. The case is amazing quality and great design, it wont slip out of your hands like many wireless earbud cases, but the nice design comes at the price of being a bit bulky for just carrying in your pants pockets. Single bud mode only works with the right earbud and there is no auto pause when you take them out of your ear, something much less expensive buds have, and while these shouldn't be deal breakers for most, if it is important for you, keep that in mind. Battery life is long lasting and the buds are IP57 certified which means they are dust resistant and waterproof up to 1 meter for 30 minutes, which while I do not recommend you go swimming with these, it does give an added peace of mind and lets you rinse them under the sink if they get very dirty. Overall I am very satisfied with the E8 Sport wireless earbuds, and while the price may be steep, if you have the money to spend, and know what features you want, these are definitely quality earbuds that won't disappoint. ... show more

  • Be ready to pair the device every single time you use it
Color: Black
The hardware is great. The product meets the waterproof claim, I tested it and it was amazing. However, the biggest problem with these headphones is the pairing. Maybe I am spoiled by Apple's AirPods, but I have come to expect pairing a device once and have it work across all my devices and switching from one device to the other with a single tap. Not the case with the Bang & Olufsen Beoplay E8 Sport. One must pair each individual device before each use, the whole listening experience just feels disjointed. The worst part of pairing the headphones is the Bang & Olufsen's bloatware app. It just adds more steps to something that is a two-step process with other brands. The great features of the hardware are overshadowed by the clunkiness of the pairing process. One must press and hold the buttons on each bud while shuffling through the phone's settings. I can't imagine doing this while commuting. The bluetooth signal is weak and the headphones regularly get disconnected, which means sitting through the pairing process yet again. It has taken me up to 20 minutes to get the headphones to pair again. Not ideal when I'm trying to squeeze in a morning workout. The sound quality is great, when the connection works. I regret this purchase and I wish to get a refund. ... show more

  • Love these and I've had all the Beoplay E8 True Wireless Models
Color: Black
I just purchased these and they are by far my new favorite headphones. I’ve had all the true wireless options that B&O have put out and the design and the form factor are so nice on this sports version. The case is much different than the regular version 3.0. It’s not made of leather but stands up nicely and because of this design actually seems slimmer. The buds themselves are wider in circumference and fit my ear much better than the regular version. I love the rubberized texture and the wingtips. That said, the battery life is amazing and I love the sound. I use them for watching television and listening to music while I stay at home for work. I love the punch of the bass and the fact that I can adjust transparency mode and listen to people talk around me. ... show more

  • Good not 350 good
Color: Black
Sound quality is just as good as the other top buds like sennheiser momentum 2 or Sonys or even klipsch these are a little louder then the sennheisers so what justifies the price? Well sennheiser got noice canceling an these don’t but to me personally the case is way better the buds look way better I get a better premium feeling with B&O the case is amazing is it worth 350 no I would say it’s worth 279 at most if they had noise canceling yes it would be worth 350 because the over all package is great. But if you only care about sound right now I would tell you guys look at the klipsch ear buds first generation because those gotta better sound then anything I got ... show more

  • Meh headphones for $300
Color: Black
This pair of headphones is not worth the price tag. The first thing I noticed is once I join a call, a beeping sound starts on the headphones. Talked with customer support multiple times and they were (kinda) able to solve that. It works most of the time, and sometimes it starts beeping.... Might just be a software thing. The sound quality is v good for its size. You can really hear things very clearly and lots of bass. The bluetooth connection w your phone/computer is very bad. You have to re-pair it often. It is also hard to move from one device to the other. I have the oldest airpods and the experience on those is so so much better. In terms of comfort, these are super uncomfortable. They'll either fall off your ears or, if you use the bigger plastics, they'll hurt the inside of your ear. TLDR: don't buy these for 350, not worth the price. ... show more
