My daughter loves this gem art kit! It comes with 5 suncatchers along with hooks, 5 keychains along with clasp keyrings, 6 stickers, and a wide assortment of gems. Other items include 2 trays, 2 applicators, 3 sticky padded squares, and small bags to store the gems in. The designs are super cute, and it's great how each one comes color-coded so it's easy to identify which gem should go where (which is great for my kid who likes following rules). My daughter was so excited to get started that she finished 5 of them (with a lot of help from me) before we had to break for lunch. She found the gem applicator difficult to use, so she just used her hands - while I used it to speed up the process. One thing that doesn't quite make sense is the packaging of the gems. They come in crinkly plastic bags that you have to tear apart from each other, open, then pour into the trays. But the storage bags are so small that it's hard to pour any remaining gems into them, even though each tray has a tapered end to make pouring easier. It would have made more sense to package the gems in the same bags that they would be stored in, and made the bags larger. Still, that doesn't take away from the quality and diversity of this gem art kit, so I give it 5 stars. My daughter will definitely enjoy completing the remaining projects! The box is deceptively small, but it contains everything your child needs to make 5 sun-catchers, 5 double-sided keychains, and additionally contains 6 holographic stickers. This is one of those toys that you can set your child up with for a long time of quiet creative play. Much better than a TV, a tablet or a phone! Diamond Art requires that you pick up each sparkly "gem" individually and carefully place it on the item being "gemmed." Ideal for hand-eye coordination or fine motor practice! The finished pieces are really cute - whimsical, sparkly and colorful. I was impressed with the thickness of the keychain/backpack charms and I tried to depict how thick they are in my photo. They are definitely not going to bend. Your child will love this kit! Makes a great gift for your next kid's birthday party! Highly recommend! This is a nice kit for a younger child bc the gems are a little bit bigger. Our 5-year-old really enjoyed it... heck the 7 and 9 year-olds did too! There are a variety of things to make and lots of pieces are included with the kit. And you can't beat the price.

I've tried other diamond art kits and this one is just as good as any others. The kit comes with everything you need for your little ones to start designing. The tools are easy to use for a 4 year old though it is easy to lose or mix up the gems if you're not careful. We loved this little kit as soon as we took it out of the box and opened it. Would definitely keep a little girl busy for at least 2 to 3 hours, or an hour here and there. We're new to the diamond art craft so thought this kit for smaller projects was a perfect way to start. There are multiple different crafts within the kit. The biggest plus to this kit vs others I've seen are the pickup tools (two included) and the diamond pieces are larger. Great for little hands or those that might be challenged working with the smaller pieces. The grandkids were excited to receive the kit and first impressions are it's great.
