    • If you put in window you don't see the sparkle.
This was easy to do. Good instructions. Designs are attractive. Older children can do easily. However, we were disappointed that when we hung it in a window the bright background turned it into shadows. They are best hund adjacent to a light source in order to enjoy the sparkling gems.

    • Mirrored backs on gems - not a sun catcher, sticky pattern leaves a mess
I had gotten another brand for my daughter for Christmas, which she loved. The gems were transparent all the way through and they look beautiful in her window. Bought these for a birthday party craft thinking they were the same - do not get this one! The instructions want to you take off a film that reveals a sticky residue on the pattern and stick it to the paper pattern. If you do this, the paper peels off and is a mess, it can't be cleared off again. Caught that quickly and stopped the girls from doing that. Anywhere they do not put a gem, there is sticky residue that will just catch dust over time and become gross. They added the gems, which look pretty, but will not work as a sun catcher in a window because the back of the gems have a metallic coating. Pretty patterns and pretty gems, but not a good pack.
