This bookshelf is a great piece. It holds all of my books and is pretty sturdy. I did not attach it to the wall so if you knock into it, it’ll wobble. But overall it seems safe and it’s a solid bookshelf. It’s a great size and the wood is lovely. It did come with an extra piece of a flat slate. I’m not sure what that’s for and if everyone gets it but it’s not pictured in the Amazon photos provided for this product. I love it! ... show more

Shelf is relatively easy to assemble, although the little tools provided are a bit lackluster. It is not very sturdy, I would recommend avoiding placing anything heavy near the top. The quality of the bamboo is not bad, we had a single shelf piece that had some residual (glue?) of some sort that was stuck to the surface, but otherwise the shelf is a nice addition to the home. ... show more

I love this bookshelf for my kids. The assembly was pretty easy. Advice is once it's all assembled loosen the bottom supports to level it. I haven't had to use the wall anchor, but if you have a child that is into climbing, I would recommend! I love the easy access and ability for kids to put the books back themselves. I was so excited for this bookshelf. I immediately started putting it together. At the third shelf and found out the wrong size of small screws were sent. The material seems sturdy overall. It’s upsetting that I will probably have to send it back.
