It took a tiny bit longer than usual to receive, but, come on, who orders Christmas trees in April? The tree did not disappoint. It is impeccably packaged. It comes with directions my cat could understand and they include “fluffing gloves!” How cool is that? The color of the tree is realistic and, the needles don’t shed excessively. This is quite important, because the same cat that can read the easy-to-understand directions, also likes to eat needles from artificial Christmas trees. I did not open up (fluff) all the branches yet, because, hey, it’s April, and I left it in its compact shipping (or storing) condition. I will snap a picture and another review in November or December, when I actually assemble and decorate it. I’ve wanted a Balsam Hill tree for a while and I’m sure this will be really nice. This tree is easy to assemble, great value for your money. My one concern is the height of the tree stated on the box and description details. I’m not sure how this tree was measured. But I stand 5ft 1 in. and I can put the star on the tree without a ladder or step stool. If this tree wasn’t so beautiful I would be returning it because of the height. This is not a true 6 foot tree. I would recommend purchasing the 7 ft tree. ... show more

The tree had plastic fringe on the branches instead of pine needles for the look of a real tree. We had it set up for 3 days to allow sufficient time for fluffing and having the branches fill out, but there were still gaps as you cannot bend the branches to fit the area. Haven't finish arranging all the branches and bristles because there are so many. It looks real and very pretty. I bought 6 ft tree and it's 6 ft to the top of the branch sticking straight up, so the tree is really only about 5'8. Shorter than I would have liked. Easy to assemble.. just takes a while because of all the branches. Still a good deal for the money ... show more

Love this brand! The quality is superb and so is their customer service. What I got: 6 foot tree (in three sections) Tree stand Tree bag Two pairs of gloves A tree tool Spare fuses/lights in a convenient box Set up: Setting the tree up was incredibly easy. Unbunching the individual parts of the tree was actually enjoyable this year since we did not end up with scratches all over our hands thanks to the gloves! The tree: The tree is absolutely stunning! The texture and spacing of the branches really does make the tree look natural and perfect! I ordered the 6 foot tree since we live in a tiny apartment, but wish I would have gotten a taller one. Regardless, the tree looks fantastic and I am so incredibly happy with it! Customer service: I got worried when I ordered the tree because the delivery date was different when I checked out than when I had it in my shopping cart. I reached out to Balsam Hill about the delivery date and they reassured me of the date, which ended up being a day earlier than I had originally anticipated. Great customer service, quick delivery!
