This are the greatest shorts I could ever bought for my "running era". The material is amazing, it is not see through when you went over, the side pockets are really large to fit the phone (i have an iPhone 13 pro and I think it can fit a larger phone just as comfortable) and it's really comfortable, i just run a half marathon with them and I just love them so much. I bought the 8" one and it's long enough that the legs won't be chafing. It's true to size, I'm normally an L girl but the XL fits really nice and it's not suffocating... I can't recommend this enough, I'll keep buying it ... show more

Love these shorts. These are great bike shorts for excersize or just lounging around. The material is durable and thick but not stifling and it's breathable. I have a few of these from prior year(s) where they were mid-rise and I don't mind high-rise although I also don't find these high-rise shorts to rise much higher than the mid-rise. I love the pockets on both sides but the one on the waistband has gotten thicker since the prior versions so you can see it a bit on your tummy which I don't love. My weight has fluctuated a little the past few years but these shorts always fit great and look flattering. Personally I do not like the materials used for any of the colors or patterns except the light grey and charcoal grey. Those are like stretchy cotton blend which is comfortable for lounging and working out. The material for the other colors is a cold, shiny, bathing suit-like material that feels gross and shows spots once I start sweating. On one hand I think they're a little over priced at $20 but on the other they fit great, they've held up well (washing warm gentle and air drying flat on rack) and I did come back for more... It would be AWESOME if they could make other colors in the fabric/material used for the charcoal and light grey!! 2024 Edit I still love these charcoal classic and light grey classic shorts and I really really wish they made full length leggings in these fabrics. As I noted before, I personally cannot stand the bathing suit like material used for all the other colors, so I avoid those. Unfortunately their leggings are only available in those yucky fabrics. Just putting it out in the universe I would buy several pairs of the leggings every year if they were available in the charcoal classic and light grey classic fabric! Baleaf shorts stay PUT. They do not ride up or down and are perfect for long workouts! No adjusting needed. They run TTS, so I ordered a medium- size 8 pants. 5'7" 160 lbs. Also- I can attest that Baleaf athletic wear (including swim) lasts FOR YEARS. I've been purchasing Baleaf for five years or so - maybe longer - and I wear my gear regularly. I was influenced by someone on instagram and bought these. I do like them mostly for the length. They're a little longer than volleyball shorts, but not biker length down to your knees type of fit. They look good under longer t-shirts! And I can wear them while pregnant, which was a plus. These shorts are great! They are comfortable and fit well. I wear a size 6 and I ordered a medium and they are very comfortable. I was worried that they would be too thin and show too much but they don’t do either. They have a high waistband that fits comfortably. I ordered a couple just to try them out and then I ordered several more. I love the phone pocket. They are thick enough that they are not see through. The perfect workout short.
