I have owned a number of different ski masks over the years and most work well, but I was looking for something that had a little more wind protection without needing to put up my jacket hood and this fit the bill. I primarily use it to walk the dogs at night and in the morning, but it has also been a great addition to my hiking gear as well. The face mask is easy to pull down if you are a little too warm, but it is tall enough that it covers your face and nose without falling down as you move around. Wind protection is great without being too bulky. It is very warm and comfortable since it isn't as tight fitting as some of the other options on the market.
