These cushions are in most ways exactly what I needed. They're wearing well, they stay put on the stool and they are cushy enough. I was going to throw away these metal barstools but the cushions made them comfortable enough to keep. I needed a cushion for the top of a 15" diameter collapsable ottoman that I could attach securely to the removable top. This 14" cushion fit the bill. I was unable to find a 15" like this cushion. The 14" was only 1/2" short around the edge. What I like about this cushion is that it is dense, and secures with velcro to the underside of the removable top. Also, when resting my heels on top of the cushion for long periods of time, the cushion maintains its shape. No heel divots settling into the cushion. Recently I added a standing desk to my living room/home theater and its great but after an 1.5hrs or so I need to sit down. I looked into getting a tall stool or chair but I have this old metal table around 30" high and its all metal, very sturdy. I decided to try sitting on the table and it was a surprise how nice it felt, only thing is, it is a table. This one fit the specs perfectly and to be on the safe side I asked a few questions about this cushion. #1 Is the foam inside relatively firm? #2 Does the fabric fit over the cushion tightly? Almost immediately I got several answers, all YES across the board. Well I bought one and the cushion just turned a table into a legitimate stool. Thanks fellow Amazon shoppers! I appreciate it! Fits stool top perfect and is not too fluffy or slippery. They also sent little squares of fabric to cover the Velcro that may stay exposed which I loved and was thankful for. My clothes don’t get attached or my skin
