    • A very nice addition
Upgraded from 4 to five stars, see below...I have been walking for the past three years with a BagBoy Tri-Swivel II cart. GREAT cart, but that's not the subject here. I also have the BagBoy Tracker attached to a wheel. Cool little gadget, but that's also not the subject here. When waiting on a tee box, I would occasionally find myself sitting in one of the other's cart so decided I needed a seat of my own. Finally found this after months of searching (production and inventory delays...possibly (probably?) due to Covid related issues) and I'm happy I did. Installation is easy, as long as you follow the right instructions for your cart. As one of the other reviews noted, it comes with two brackets, a metal, adjustable one, and a plastic one. I spent about fifteen minutes trying to figure out (based on the instructions) how to install the metal bracket before I realized that I was looking at the wrong side of the instruction sheet. Once I turned it over, and saw that I was looking at the instructions for the Tri-Swivel II, it took all of five minutes to install (it comes with everything you need to install it). Even though it's plastic, the bracket seems sturdy and I don't see any angles that will put undue stress on it so i believe it will hold up, although only time will tell. If I find this to be an issue, I will update this review. Use is straightforward, slide it into the bracket and you're done. Sit on it and it extends to the ground (a bit of wobble, but not excessive), stand up and it rises to get out of the way. Yes, it does rattle a bit, but not really any more than the clubs in my bag, but I'm going to try wrapping some electrical tape around the seat post to see if I can quiet it a little. The seat just slides up for easy removal (necessary to fold the cart). Overall, a great addition. So, why only four stars? Two reasons: (1) The plastic bracket. Probably OK but I would have been happier with metal and in fact, if the other metal bracket was not included, this is probably something I wouldn't have even though of. But it was, and I did (2) The bracket gets in the way of folding the cart, so the left wheel has to be removed. Thankfully, it comes off with the push of a button, so it's not a big deal, just an inconvenience, albeit a minor one. Overall, very happy so far. If anything changes, I'll update this review. Thanks for reading! ***UPDATE*** Updated to five stars...turns out the cart can b folded with the left wheel still on. The mount is made of two parts, one attaches to the cart and one slides out and attaches to the part of the mount on the seat. I didn't notice this earlier. When the pieces are properly place, there is plenty of room to fold the cart with the wheel in place. Actually a clever design. The instructions do kind of show this, but not very well. Besides, if I paid attention to the instructions, I wouldn't have tried to install it with the wrong adapter first. So, five stars it is. ... show more

    • Excited for the golf season
The box arrived within the expected time but to my surprise, the seat already had a cut in it about .5" long. It probably was from the packing since there are so many sharp edges with the metal pieces in a very tight box. I was ready to return it to Amazon but they provided information that I needed to reach out to Bag Boy manufacturer for a replacement part since I marked this return as a defective part. I was worried about going down this path but was pleasantly surprised at how easy Bag Boy made the process. After providing pictures of the seat damage and proof of purchase, I received the replacement part within a week! Already used this with my first golfing activity this season and loved it. It did not rattle too much, and I really didn't feel an impact to the pushing of the cart or its weight. The only reason I gave this a 4 is because of how much time it took to install. Even though my Quad uses the plastic piece, it feels sturdy. I have no concern of this breaking. It just took me some time to install. ... show more

    • Great product but needs clearer installation instructions and more functionality
There are two sets of attachments for the seat to the main frame of the Bag Boy Quad XL. The instructions aren’t clear which attachment should be used. After fumbling around and re-reading the instructions several times on one attachment for about 30 minutes, I went to the other one and easily placed it on the frame within 5 minutes. When I attempted to collapse the frame to place it in the back of my car, I discovered that the seat attachment wouldn’t allow a complete compression of the cart frame. Now, every time I use the cart which is every time I play golf, I have to partially collapse the frame, remove the left wheel (the wheel adjacent to the seat attachment), complete the frame collapse and put the cart and the left wheel into the back of my car separately. It’s a pain in the butt, but the seat is great, so whatcha gonna do? ... show more

    • Works as I hoped, but pretty squeaky when I'm pushing it
Easy to install. I was a bit worried, but I followed the instructions, and watched a video or 2, and those made the difference. Installed in no time. Easy to open and close the pushcart. The seat does not get in the way because you take it off before folding. Very easy to slip in and out. As soon as I loaded it started moving, it got squeaky. Like noticeably squeaky. I haven't tired WD40 or anything else yet, so hopefully something like that will work. LOVE the chair! Can't believe how just sitting for 45 seconds or so every hole is quite relaxing, and energizing. The people I played with all tried it and a guy, older than me (70's?) said he was buying one right away. ... show more

    • Good product; lousy instructions
I got the product as promised but returned it because I couldn't install it. The Amazon return process was flawless. I reordered the product from the manufacturer. Same problem. The customer service personnel there were very friendly and accommodating. The problem was the installation instructions. Two separate mounting brackets were included without any indication of which one was for which application. One mounting bracket was referred to as an "adapter" instead of a separate mounting bracket. The product is good but the mounting instructions need to be improved. ... show more

    • Not super sturdy
I found this easy to install once I read the proper side of the instructions for my cart. It seems like it will work ok. My only complaint is it isn’t super sturdy. It’s kind of wobbly. Maybe that’s the nature of these seats. It’s installed properly and all of the hardware is snug. Not sure why it wobbles, but it will still beat standing and waiting for people in front of you. ... show more
