i absolutely love this product. i had a front flower bed that got crushed by a fly by car in a wreck and i needed something to edge the flower bed. this was the exact size i needed i actually put wooden posts next to the bamboo and wow truly a beachy very authentic bohemian feel. the bamboo looks sturdy and eye catching from a distance. i used potting soil to fill the area in after setting these up. looks like a raised flower bed. its definitely very different! i think using the dark wooden half posts at each end definitely gave it that primitive oceany feel. i just ordered bamboo blinds to screen in the porch. it will all tie in. if u are thinking of giving these a try just know that they will give the look u want but closely monitor the length for what u need. i was lucky and had just enough for the front of the bed but i nearly ordered more. there is nothing else like these on the market so its worth giving it a shot. the blinds are from the same company and i will keep buying from them too. thanks for the great item also mine arrived with no posts or rods to put them up but they had some kind of paperclip looking thing attached to each end so u can hook them together. perfect for nailing onto the wooden posts at each end they can be modified to lean how u want or stand straight and tall. ... show more

Arrived on time and well packaged. Comes in a roll. Wanted to dress up my husband’s raised Koi ponds but rock and stone are so expensive. Decided to use wood. Found these and painted and sealed to match stain on our deck and topped with planks. We did drill small wholes in bottom and inserted metal rods to add stability in ground.     • Finally got my 7th bundle

I finally got the 7th bundle. Not sure what happened. There were NO stakes in any of the seven boxes. The 7th bundle was about 8 inches shorter and alot of the wood was small in size with several cracks. As I did with all of the bundles, I purchased clear UVsealer spraying all the tops down to the bottoms to prevent early rotten. Since there were NO stakes I purchased rebar in 18 inch lengthens. Placed about ever 2 to 3 foot. The logs are ontop of the soil very straight and strong. Most of the bundles are the fresh green color. I like these, just a pain to not get what I purchased and the missing stakes having to get the next best option. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Sturdy and made of good material. Staking is definitely needed. The stakes recommended don't work with this edging. Like another reviewer, I used wooden chopsticks.

I purchased this because I loved the look of it and needed something to build up the sides of my pond as my 3 goldfish love to flop around from time to time and were getting over the edge. It was easy to install, it's very flexible. I dug out the gravel , set the border as close as possible to the edge of pond then pushed the removed gravel back up against the sides to hold in place. There were a lot of small gaps between the border and the sides of the pond. All I did for that situation was add some gravel in the gaps so that should the fish jump they would not get stuck in between. I used 2 rolls for what you see in the picture. ... show more

These are super cute and look great in my yard, but they don't come with an easy way to install them. I bought several lengths and only two packs came with little wooden dowels to stake them into the ground. And those dowels were useless because they didn't actually fit in the pre-drilled holes in the bottom of the fencing. I ended up buying some metal stakes and using those between some of the wood on this and it was easy, but docking stars because I had to find my own solution to install them. ... show more

We wanted a garden edging that had a shore/beach and a japanese garden simplicity about it. This edging did all that. It has held up over the summer so far, with no signs of deteriration. My only suggestion is to not use the plastic stakes that Amazon reccomended. Just get some thin metal stakes. The edging is easy to layout. The wire that hold the wood togther made it easy to shape the edging while we decided the final layout. ... show more
