The media could not be loaded. Purchased this flat iron so I could leave my full size CHI at home during travel, this was the perfect solution! It heats quickly, has finger grippers to hold easily, and allows the hair to glide smoothly without catching on any parts of the iron itself. It has a simple on/off power switch with no temperature adjustment, but heats to a very high temperature to style hair. The appearance is similar to other Babyliss products, but in a convenient small size. As an added bonus, it comes with a thermal pouch to place the hot iron if on the run without time to cool. The iron itself does cool rather quickly due to its small size. The cord has a reinforced cord at the iron base for added protection. I only use it for my bangs and it’s perfect for that. The case that comes with it is a bit tight so I moved it to a slightly larger case that doesn’t crimp the cord. Heats very quickly.

I’ll start with this iron is perfect for what I need. The size is great, and is perfect for short hair. The downside is the lifespan; I’ve had short hair for less than a year and a half, and this is my third iron. The side that doesn’t have the “on/off” switch stops heating after a few months. You can get it to heat up by messing with it for a bit, but it eventually stops working altogether. I’ve had cheap, $12 curling irons last me for years, but I’d be lucky to get six months out of one of these. It’s unfortunate, because it really is the perfect size for what I need. ... show more

I bought this to blend my leave-out with my quickweave, and it worked great. The larger size was out of my budget, so this one was perfect. It heats up well without burning me and fits neatly in the bag when you fold the cord properly. Overall, I’d recommend it for touch-ups and shorter hair.
