The media could not be loaded. Purchased this flat iron so I could leave my full size CHI at home during travel, this was the perfect solution! It heats quickly, has finger grippers to hold easily, and allows the hair to glide smoothly without catching on any parts of the iron itself. It has a simple on/off power switch with no temperature adjustment, but heats to a very high temperature to style hair. The appearance is similar to other Babyliss products, but in a convenient small size. As an added bonus, it comes with a thermal pouch to place the hot iron if on the run without time to cool. The iron itself does cool rather quickly due to its small size. The cord has a reinforced cord at the iron base for added protection. I bought this to blend my leave-out with my quickweave, and it worked great. The larger size was out of my budget, so this one was perfect. It heats up well without burning me and fits neatly in the bag when you fold the cord properly. Overall, I’d recommend it for touch-ups and shorter hair. I bought this in hope of packing something smaller on trips. This is perfect for very short hair or bangs. But not for traveling in place of a flat iron. I have med length hair and it just took forever and had to reheat up constantly. Ended up just packing my larger, daily use flat iron.

This is the tiniest hair appliance I’ve ever seen, but it gets the job done. I have long, thick hair with curtain bangs and layers, so I definitely find this most useful for taming the shorter sections. I can still straighten all my hair if I need to, but obviously it just takes a little while. I use the SEEN heat protectant crème and I’m able to style my hair with this without it looking, smelling or feeling cooked. I only use it for my bangs and it’s perfect for that. The case that comes with it is a bit tight so I moved it to a slightly larger case that doesn’t crimp the cord. Heats very quickly.

I’ll start with this iron is perfect for what I need. The size is great, and is perfect for short hair. The downside is the lifespan; I’ve had short hair for less than a year and a half, and this is my third iron. The side that doesn’t have the “on/off” switch stops heating after a few months. You can get it to heat up by messing with it for a bit, but it eventually stops working altogether. I’ve had cheap, $12 curling irons last me for years, but I’d be lucky to get six months out of one of these. It’s unfortunate, because it really is the perfect size for what I need. ... show more

You think small, great for travel...this thing is as small as the palm of your hand not much more and it is the width of your thumb and I have big thumbs. This is sad, shameful and just downright fraudulent that a company that is suppose to put out a top notch product would charge so much for an iron that is 6 inches long, tops and 1/4 inch wide. Don't believe the description. Unless your smoothing out bangs, forget the rest of your head. BaByliss must be in cahoots with PGE/Edison because guarantee your electricity will triple with this little heat stick.
