I was extremely excited about these clippers, considering my 15-year experience as a barber. As someone who always seeks the latest and greatest clippers, I had high hopes for them. Regrettably, these clippers failed to meet my expectations. The first noticeable issue is their excessive noise level, especially when compared to their competition. My Style Craft Instincts and JRLs, in comparison, are significantly quieter. Moreover, the blade proved to be a nightmare when it came to zero-gapping. Normally, I can achieve a perfect blade alignment within 2 or 3 minutes. However, with these clippers, it takes a frustratingly long time of 15-20 minutes to get it just right. But the most irritating aspect is the heat. By the time I have completed only half of a fade, the blades become scorching hot to the touch. I initially believed this might be due to a faulty blade, so I attempted to resolve the issue by switching to a brand new Granite Fade blade. Unfortunately, I encountered the same result. It is incredibly frustrating to have paid such a premium price for a clipper that is ultimately very loud, heavy, and prone to overheating. ... show more

My husband is a barber and i bought these for him upon his request and HE LOVES THEM. He actually wants the edgers now! Highly recommend. Okay, update, he’s been using them for 5 months exactly and they broke. A very important piece that holds the blade broke off. We’re very disappointed because he loved them. He even wants to buy them again but scared to spend that much money on a product that could break so easily so soon. He does use these for work daily.. but 5months just isnt a long time for that price. ... show more
