Received this today in brand new condition, not sure about the foam insert piece or what you're supposed to do with it but it's packaging wasnt damaged really, just had black marks on cardboard and taped up well. I like the carrier handle and it's lightweight, the green is a nice color not ugly and the fabric seems comfy with some cushion, it seems like a simple install will update later with any more info. UPDATE***** I really don't know why people are complaining, yeah you have to combine the clip but once you're used to it it's no big deal. It's super lightweight and baby still fits in it well at almost 4 months now. Everyone but me loves the triangle carrier part, I have weak arms so I don't care for it but that's just me. Feels very secure with or without the base and even fits well in small cars like the back of our Volvo, if baby's head isn't sitting right the base needs to be readjusted correctly or use the boot. Out baby has done amazing in this and it seems very comfortable as well. The straps don't cut in and it seems like a sturdy safe little carseat. ☺️☺️☺️ Glad I bought this, will be upgrading from this carrier in a month or so to a cocorro permanent installed in the car. I will admit I’m a Britax fan for car seats , BUT I’m having Irish twins and needed a certain type of double stroller . The Baby Trend Sit & Stand was the one for us . So I wanted the car seat to go with it . It’s superrrr light weight , and honestly really comfortable. I thought at the price it was that it would feel mainly like plastic lol. The ONLY complaint I have is that the bottom buckle is plastic where it’s usually metal , and the ‘hooks’ were the car seat snaps to the base is also plastic . The base is much easier to tighten down than others we’ve tried. If you have problems with tightening the base down throw your foot or knee down on it while tightening the straps, read a few reviews and comments saying people couldn’t tighten it down right. To do so with this or any car seat base you need to apply pressure to it while pulling the strap tight. The car seat is light weight but seems very sturdy and well made. kiddo fits great with some room to grow, clicks into base easily and fits in shopping carts and a few different strollers we’ve tried. Sun shroud and carry handle are easily adjustable and balanced as well. So far no complaints ... show more
