I was skeptical when I saw the design. I"m used to the bulky baby swings from over 15 years ago when I used to babysit. This is much more compact. It rocks side to side. It has a very secure weighted base. It has two posts that click in for the legs like you would see on the side of crutches or a medical device. The center has a very sturdy bold that you have to release in order to take the middle basket piece out. The positioning is very versatile as well. There is a lock you can put on so it doesn't rock side to side. There is a music feature as well as timing features. The inside is so soft, it's like a fleece material. There is a lot of cushioning and you can remove the pillow as well. You can add the little shade for privacy or to dampen sounds. The only negative is that it sits very low to the ground. I'm not sure if it's advisable to put it on a sturdy table, not one from Ikea, but a solid wood or metal table might be able to handle it. This baby swing is for infants up to 1. I'm not sure it would be able to handle a child larger than that. If the child was able to move too much it could make it tip over, so it's best for little babies. This baby bouncer is really easy to assemble and is loved by baby! It plays music and rocks from side to side. The interior is so comfortable and supported. Make sure the bouncer is placed in a safe and sturdy location. I would also check to make sure your baby isn't too big for this bouncer at point.     • Canopy Doesn’t Stay Up

The canopy on this thing won’t stay up unless the whole screen is pulled down as well. The hanging toys hang down too far above babies head & the seat position buttons are difficult to manipulate. You have to push both buttons in at the same time while manipulating your fingers just right to push into desired setting. Too much of a pain for this Nana to mess with, returning. ... show more

This baby swing is not only beautiful and fits in with a modern aesthetic but it's also easy to use. Has lots of options for speed and sway, and you can use the canopy to create a bit of darkness or leave it open. Love how easily babies drift off to sleep in a swing! Absolutely recommend.

This is an okay compact swing, but a few things could be improved. The buckle/harness is very oddly shaped, and sits extremely low on my baby. I do like the snap cover that you can put over the buckle to prevent your baby from unbuckling themselves, but the placement of the actual harness is very weird. Additionally, if the swing arm is not attached to the base in a very specific way (not made clear in the directions), the swing audibly "clicks" very loudly as it swings back and forth. I thought perhaps the swing was just loud until we fiddled with the base and adjusted it. For the price there are a ton of comparable swings available that have better designs, so I have a hard time recommending this one. ... show more
