  • For the new generation
I am trying to widen my teen into more than just Taylor Swift, and thankfully, she approves of Britney - making me remember listening to this same CD when I was her age, only it was newly released.

  • Bubblegum pop album
If anyone likes bubblegum music this is the album for you there’s a bubblegum ballad on here called Sometimes great slow dance song the song has no swearing in the song the bonus tracks would be the way to because the original album doesn’t have Autumn Goodbye and remix versions of Baby One More Time so if u enjoy bubblegum pop music I would highly recommend getting the version with the bonus tracks because it’s the remastered version of the album I can’t wait to E mail My Heart I’ll Never Stop Loving You and From The Bottom Of My Broken Heart etc ... show more

  • Iconic!
I love Britney Spears so much, so this CD was a no-brainer purchase! Her debut album, “Baby One More Time” is a classic for a reason: it’s a nostalgic 90s sugar rush of bubblegum pop, dance hits, and powerful ballads. Some songs are slightly too juvenile for my tastes (ex. Soda Pop and E-Mail My Heart), but certainly not skips. However, there are so many hidden gems on this album that nobody talks about. The singles are hits for a reason, but don’t sleep on Britney’s gorgeous vocals in songs like “I Will Still Love You” and “I’ll Never Stop Loving You.” This album is perfect for when you feel like putting on frosty makeup, dancing around your room, and writing in your diary like it’s 1999! Plus, if not for the music, the poster included with this CD is too cute to pass up! A must-have in anyone’s collection. ... show more

  • Britney Spears' First Album
Ah, memories. I remember sitting in my room blasting this album on my radio... This is the debut CD by Britney Spears. Released in early 1999, it would debut at number 1, and make Britney an instant success. Back then anyone who was anyone had to have this album. Everyone thought that she was one of the coolest people on the earth. This album basically revitalized the teen bubblegum pop sound. This was also when she was at her most innocent. Most of the songs on this album focus on teen love and heart break. A lot of them are cheesy too. We have the classic song ...Baby One More Time, the forgetful single From The Bottom Of My Broken Heart and the ultimate cheese, E-Mail My Heart. This album is definitely not gold, but it has sold over 30,000,000 copies and is certified 14x platinum by the RIAA. 1. ...Baby One More Time 5/5 - The classic song. Deserves an automatic 5 out of 5. 2. (You Drive Me) Crazy 4/5 - This is a slower version of "The Stop! Remix", but the remix is definitely better. 3. Sometimes 4/5 - The beautiful ballad about love and it's effects it has on you. Very nice. 4. Soda Pop 3/5 - This is an O.K. song. At times, it's almost impossible to understand what the guy who is rapping is saying. 5. Born To Make You Happy 3.5/5 - Another ballad. But it's still really good, it's about wondering where a relationship went wrong, and wanting to fix it. 6. From The Bottom Of My Broken Heart 2/5 - I'm not feeling it. Too sappy, and WAY to long, over 5 minutes. 7. I Will Be There 4/5 - Kind of like a very soft core rock song. The guitars are really cool here. 8. I Will Still Love You (Duet With Don Philip) 3.5/5 - There's something about this song that makes me love it. The lyrics are surprisingly good, and Don Philip sounds really nice here. 9. Deep In My Heart 4.5/5 - This song is electro-pop. Back then, not many songs sounded like this, and it was definitely ahead of its time. 10. Thinkin' About You 3.5/5 - This is another pop song. It's nothing special really, except her voice sounds really good. 11. E-Mail My Heart 2.5/5 - The ultimate in cheesy ballads. The lyrics aren't catchy, overall a forgetful song. 12. The Beat Goes On 3/5 - Cover of Sonny & Cher's song. The lyrics don't make much sense though. 13. I'll Never Stop Loving You 3.5/5 - A cover of J'son's ballad. Nothing that special, though it could've replaced E-Mail My Heart. 14. Autumn Goodbye 5/5 - This song is amazing. Like Deep In My Heart, it's electro-pop, back then very ahead of it's time. The lyrics are well written also. 15. ...Baby One More Time (David Ospina Radio Mix) 4/5 - A pretty good dance remix. 16. ...Baby One More Time (Boy Wunder Radio Mix) 4/5 - Another good dance remix. These two remixes are nothing special, but they're pretty good. So, as you can see, this album is littered with love ballads. Luckily, on her next album, "Oops!...I Did It Again", she shows maturity. This version of ...Baby One More Time, comes with and obi strip, and a lyrics booklet that contains unreleased pictures. This is probably one of the best and cheapest versions of the "...Baby One More Time" album you can get. There are better version out there, but a lot of them were limited edition, and are hard to find. If you can find one, it will probably be pretty expensive. ... show more
