This product is very easy to assemble and take apart for cleaning. It is easy to use, and I like the fact that I do not need to continue to buy additional parts or filters to use this multiple times. It has a small clear case for storage so you can spot it easily in that messy medicine cabinet, under the sink, or that diaper bag that makes you feel like Mary Poppins. The tip that is inserted near the opening of the nasal passage is soft enough to not bother your baby or toddler. The mouth piece is a harder plastic, but is effective in doing the job. The tubing can be rinsed easily, but I have not found any deep cleaning to be necessary because mucus does not get into it. The chamber is best used when a half of a tissue or 1-2 squares of toilet paper is inserted as an additional filter. Tissue can be easily removed, and the chamber is easy to clean. I do find this product easy to use. Let's rephrase that, by letting me tell you a story. The first time I used this product was when my child was around one year old. We somehow managed to escape most of her first year without any major colds. In typical first time parent fashion I researched the heck out of this product before our first cold hit, so I had this Aspirator ready. I was able to use by myself without any help without much difficulty outside of the typical kicking and screaming that happens. After that first experience our child recognized this Bubzi Nose Thing faster than Pavlov's dogs can hear a bell. Take a clue from the guy himself, continued experience is actually easier with slight bribery or praise. It is a learn by experience thing. It fairly easy to use this on your own, but like most parenting, it is easier with two people who are on the same page. Fast forward to the beginning of this year. Daughter is now two. This time she woke up with a stuffy nose, AND REQUESTED THAT I "USE THE NOSE SUCKER." Yes, you guys....she requested it. That alone is almost worth the 5 star review. PRO. TIP: Act like it is no big deal, and don't show your own nervousness. Especially if you have a toddler. They can sense it like a raptor. This is easy to use, and reuse. There is no need to buy additional parts to continue to use it. It is easy to clean. The case makes it easy to store, and find. The kid requests it when she is sick. So I did a lot of research on the internet and found this product and one thing that stuck out to me was there were no filters to purchase like another product I researched. Based on the reviews I've read online and talking to others I went ahead and ordered one of my infant son who was born in August 2014. I've owned this baby nasal aspirator by Bubzi Co for a few weeks now. I ordered it through standard shipping and received in in 2 days from the time of my order, which is fast delivery in my opinion. The constructions is made up of a 2 plastic parts (which screws together), soft rubber tip and rubber mouth piece and hose. It's very easy to take apart, clean and put back together. This works faster than using the aspirator bulb than I got from the hospital. I normally start sucking just before I put the tip in my son's nose and it reminds me of dust buster, but is sucking up his boogers and snot. My son doesn't like anything stuck up his nose, but because this is faster I hear less crying, which is a plus for me. One tip that I can pass on is if it picks up a lot of snot and you notice it's not sucking anymore take a piece of tissue paper and blow out to shoot it onto the toilet paper and start up again. I've heard that you can stick a little toilet paper in the plastic container if you're scared of sucking up the boogers and snot, but I've never had that problem so far. It's designed so the boogers and snot should go directly into the container. I personally have never inhaled anything, so I've never tried that little tip. Last, I did want to mention that I received both an e-mail from Bubzi Co and personal phone call asking if I was satisfied with their product. I honestly can not remember the last time a company did a follow up call and to see if I was satisfied with their product. Of course I was and their representative offered 50% another item, which was nice of them. I'm giving this product the full 5 stars because of their follow up call to me, its ease of use, well constructed, and there were no additional filters or anything else that would need to be invested in this product. ... show more

    • This is a great nasal aspirator!

I actually got this for myself and have been using it for about a week now. I had nasal surgery and have not been able to blow my nose yet for 2 weeks. I am able to use a nasal spray for congestion and also saline spray, and gently blow, and got permission to use a baby aspirator, so I came on Amazon and found this, figuring this would be a much better choice than the bulb type I used on my kids when they were babies. I haven't been disappointed. This little gem is great. It's quick & easy to put together, take apart, rinse, wash, etc. It is a little tricky to use on yourself, but very doable lol. If your mucus is thick and you have to suck really hard, it is possible to suck some of what's in the little cup through the tubing, but it is very obvious if this happens, so it doesn't get far. It's quick and easy to take the tube off, rinse it out & put it back together. I even dried the tubing out with my hair dryer. The one thing I think could be better is the tip could be a little more rounded, as even though it is a very soft rubber, when your nasal passages are raw and/or sore, the slightest bit of edge is painful and/or uncomfortable. It hurts a bit for me to let it touch, but this aspirator has been GREAT for me, being unable to blow my nose, and having bad allergies, I just have to be sure not to go in too far. Also be careful which part you're putting in your mouth if you're using it on yourself ;) ... show more
