Description

Baby K'tan Breeze Wrap Baby Carrier - The Baby K'tan BREEZE Baby Carrier is made of 100% natural cotton, but is half cozy jersey knit and half breathable mesh knit. By rotating the baby sling loops, the mesh can be placed in front or back of the holder for added airflow, making it the best way to transition from indoor air-conditioning to outdoor sun with your baby or infant strapped to you. Easy, Fuss-Free Babywearing - Keeping your baby close and in a comfortable womb-like position, the infant carrier is quick and easy to get in place, and the ready-to-wear wrap-style baby carrier requires no wrapping! The infant carrier just slips on like a t-shirt – no rings, buckles, belts or annoying clasps, and no confusing excess fabric. Simple Design - The Baby K'tan Baby Carrier has a patented double-loop wrap design and unique one-way stretch, making it a versatile and secure baby sling to carry newborns and preemies from birth through infants up to 35lbs. Ideal for breastfeeding moms, the no-fuss t-shirt styling of the Baby K’tan Baby Carrier also makes it the best choice for new dads! All-Day Comfort - This baby sling offers multiple infant babywearing positions, and the baby wrap is Approved Hip Healthy by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute. The double shoulder design of the baby carrier evenly distributes weight across the parent’s back and shoulders, making it comfortable to carry larger babies for longer periods of time. Easy Care Fabric - Our 100% cotton sling is conveniently machine washable and dryer safe, and the compact baby carrier folds down to easily fit in a diaper bag. All Baby K’tan Baby Carriers come in a matching carry bag that converts to a support sash. The baby holder wraps are individually sized for the baby wearer, not the infant, and are available in XXS, XS, S, M, L or XL. Use the sizing chart to find your correct size.

  • Takes some getting used to but works
Color: Breeze Black Size: X-Large
You certainly want to become acquainted with this before going out and needing to get it on and off. But it’s been a life saver now that I have it down

  • Finally got the right size!
Color: Breeze Charcoal Size: Medium
By the chart I'm a size small 4'11 - 150lbs. The small wrap was way too little for my 3 month old. Once I finally squeeze him in after stretching the fabric his head was practically level with my own and it was extremely uncomfortable. Size large was too big, sat too low on my torso. Size medium is perfect. The fabric is breathable and very supportive. I normally use a knit wrap and find we both end up very sweaty with the warmer weather. I ordered the momcozy mesh wrap but since the fabric is polyester/nylon it slid right down over his body & felt unsafe. This is the perfect alternative. The mesh for this is a cotton blend and stays in place well. Love it! ... show more

  • I prefer the Solly wrap
Color: Breeze Charcoal Size: X-Small
I bought this in an XS (pre-pregnancy size 2, gained 35 lbs during pregnancy) and the Solly Wrap for myself, and the original Baby K’tan for my husband to compare. My husband kept his original K’tan because it works well enough for him, but I returned my Breeze and kept the Solly wrap instead. Here’s why: 1- I found the Solly wrap much easier to use. Despite not needing to wrap the K’tan Breeze, it was harder to get baby in and out than it was with the Solly. 2- Baby feels much more secure in the Solly wrap than the K’tan. The K’tan would either be too tight after I washed it or too stretched out. And no matter how tight it was, baby would jiggle around in the K’tan and I’d have to at least support his head, making it not truly hands-free (which is why I wanted a wrap). 3- the material of the K’tan Breeze did not feel that breezy. We live in a climate with very long, dry, and hot summers, and baby and I would get much hotter and sweatier in the K’tan than we would in the Solly. The material of the Solly wrap is much more breathable. The material of my husband’s original is only doable during the cooler months or in our air conditioned house. 4- the material of the K’tan Breeze is rough and stiff compared to the Solly wrap. The K’tan Breeze material reminds me of an old thick T-shirt. The original K’tan material is softer and stretchier but still not as soft and stretchy as the Solly wrap. 5- If someone else wants to wear the baby to give you a break, you’re limited to friends and family who are the same size as you. The Solly wrap will fit anyone, and is just as easy to learn how to put on as the K’tan. 6- I’ll combine these last few because they aren’t huge deals. The K’tan is a little bulkier and not as easy to stuff in a bag as the Solly wrap. It’s also 2 pieces while the Solly wrap is one. Lastly, I prefer the color options of the Solly wrap over the K’tan. In sum, the K’tan had the potential to be more convenient by not needing to be wrapped, but I didn’t find that to be the case. Hope that helps! ... show more

  • Excellent customer service!
Color: Breeze Charcoal Size: X-Large
I bought the breathable model but it wasn’t as stretchy as I expected, being plus size that was really important. The company resolved the issue and I tried another model: the yoga active one and I’m really happy with it, baby didn’t complain and is really comfortable.

  • Took some time to grow into, but worth it!
Color: Breeze Black Size: X-Small
Let me just start by saying that I never review anything, but I love this carrier so much I had to share my experience. Even if it doesn't work for you at first, it doesn't hurt to hold onto it because as your baby grows you can use other positions that may work for you better. I read a lot of the reviews here on Amazon on many of the carriers and went with this one because I preferred something that I wouldn't have to wrap around my body 100 times. Also since it's summer now I thought the mesh would be perfect. I was right! The fabric is light so it's not overbearingly hot. (I haven't used it in the heat of summer yet, maybe the hottest temp was 80F.) It's soft and comfortable to wear. And it's very easy to put on, if you go to the website they have some videos that help make it a little more clear. I'm pretty petite, about 5'3" and 125 lbs after having my baby girl. So I went with the XS size. My little girl was born at 6lbs 7 oz, however I started using this when she was about 7.5 lbs. I was a little wary because she was under the 8 lb limit but I had to do something because she wanted to be held all the time. The Baby K'tan was a lifesaver. I could actually get stuff done. Only caveat was that since she was still small sometimes I kept having to adjust the back loop because I felt her head wasn't high enough on my chest, and she would slide down. She couldn't fall out but things just felt a little loose. This was while she was in the Newborn Kangaroo hold. I would sometimes need to use an arm as an extra support as well. But having only one arm free is still better than having none! The fabric would stretch out after a few uses, but I would just throw it in the wash and dryer as others have stated. There was about one week when I actually felt she fit perfectly in the kangaroo hold, and I didn't have to support her much, but she outgrew that and things got a little tight. Fast forward to my daughter at 8 weeks old. Haven't weighed her yet but she must be about 10 lbs. I started putting her in the Hug Position and it is so much better! I feel totally confident in leaving both of my arms free to do things. Like walking to the grocery store and coming home with both bags in both hands. As for the little one, she loves it. She could be screaming while I put her in, but once she is in there snuggled up close to my chest she calms down and usually goes to sleep in 5 minutes. She's taken 2 hour naps in this thing! I can't wait until she gets bigger and I can start trying some of the other positions. ... show more
