This is a really ingenious product! The quality of the material is great. It is a light-weight stretchy material. There are many uses including carseat canopy, feeding cover and scarf. I discovered on an unusually chilly day that it can be used as a light blanket over baby in the carseat. My little one is too old for the canopy but I was able to throw this over her legs and arms as we made our way from the car to the store on an unusually windy day. I also discovered that it can be worn as a beach cover-up or thrown over your shoulders like a stylish cape. I am pretty pleased with this product and the multiple uses! Love this cover. Anything that serves multiple purposes, I pretty much love. This is great as a carseat cover and nursing cover. I had been looking for a carseat cover that won't blow around and that will allow me to carry the seat comfortably and this is perfect. I even sometimes use it to keep my shoulders or arms warm! Haven't used it as a shopping cart cover since I use it as a carseat cover and nursing cover ..germs. love the design, I wish there we more designs with darker colors so they don't show when it gets dirty, but I love the black and white stripes. I love all the designs, I just need darker colors. The fabric is great, very stratchy, but it's no problem, but it's nice and light and thin, just as these types of covers should be. It seems as though it would fit any infant carseat. I use it in the car and on the stroller. I have the britax b safe carseat. But I would definitely recommend it, I get compliments on it all the time. If you're questioning it, I say go for it. The only thing that may deter you is if your baby is long, the feet may touch the cover while in the carseat. Hasn't been a real problem for me tho. My 4 month old is around 26 inches. My baby is due in July, so I'll have to report back once this product is in actual use, but so far I'm excited about it. The cover is soft, breathable, has an impressive amount of stretch, and is very comfortable to wear - I feel like I have incredible privacy while it's on, especially regarding my sides and back, much moreso than the "apron" style nursing covers I've tried on. It's also easy to look down into the neck hole and maneuver underneath it. Even if I or my baby don't like using this for nursing, it's still incredibly versatile and will not be a wasted investment to me. I'm eager to use this as a cover for shopping carts, my car seat, stroller, restaurant high chairs, etc. The idea of owning a separate nursing cover, bulky shopping cart cover, and a canopy style car seat cover that can blow around did not appeal to me, and this folds up SMALL. I've shown the cover to a few veteran moms and they were all very excited about it and wished they had had one. One thing to note is that the Covered Goods version of this product shows the model also wearing it as a scarf. I could not comfortably wrap this around my neck twice to wear that way, but that is not important to me. ... show more

For baby #2, I really did not purchase anything new. However, since 2 years ago, I have seen a ton of moms with car seat canopies, usually ones which attach to the handle of the car seat. I think I saw someone on instagram with this canopy and I took to searching on amazon and as able to find the exact one. First off, I love the look of it, very modern, and for someone that loves black and white, it as awesome. Second, it slips over the car seat so easily and is very easy to use and is made of light weight material that appears to breath, but still shades your little one. Third, it's not just a car seat cover, it can be used as a nursing cover and a grocery cart seat cover. I get so many complements and questions about this cover too! I love it! ... show more

This is an absolute MUST HAVE for newborns. My baby was born in March, this cover has protected her from all the elements... wind, rain, pollen, noise, sun, and even a bug! It fits on my carrier & stroller, she will fall asleep and stay asleep because she's in this bubble/tent atmosphere. It's soft, stretchy, and so easy to pop on, anytime I go out, this cover is on before my baby leaves the house. It's also a lifesaver if you're a germaphobe like me, when I'm pushing my baby people can't see her so they don't ask to look or touch, and I also feel like it probably keeps a lot of germs away by acting as a barrier. I used it as a nursing once, I wore it like a scarf and just draped it over my chest, though I prefer a blanket as a cover. I haven't used it as a shopping cart seat cover but I'm sure I will. I have had the best experience feeling comfortable nursing anywhere I want/ need to with my little wiggle worm. I love that this cover has multiple purposes and although I have been using it for almost six months now, I have yet to use it as a cart cover, but it works great for the car seat. Word of caution since it is summer here in the states, it will shade your baby from the sun but like anything else covering the seat will heat up where the baby is at. Thats great when its cold out, but when its hot just make sure your checking how warm it is getting. I do love, especially in the first few months that it kept unwanted hands away from the baby while out and about. The cover has ample stretch and is lightweight, fairly breathable and compared to other brands has a slightly narrower opening at the top which for me is a plus. The opening at the top is wide enough to get a good look in so I can see what is going on, but at least for me, I do not feel like its going to slip down showing everyone what it is I am covering up. The cover holds up well going through the washer and dryer. Ive run it through both several times and have not seen any fabric pills. By far this is my favorite cover for nursing, having tried other brands with similar products and alternative covers as well.
