We had such a difficult time getting our newborn to sleep independently in her bassinet. This really seemed to help. It has a really strong vibration, even at the lowest setting, so we actually put it under her bassinet mattress and that seemed to work perfectly for her. It works with an app, so easy to turn on and off without bothering the baby. I saw a lot of reviews have issues with how often they had to change batteries, so I just also ordered a set of chargeable batteries, which was a good call.     • Don't waste your money
I've bought four in the last year. They work great for a while, and my baby loves them. Then, every single time within about two months, the motor burns out. For this price, it's completely unacceptable. I want a free replacement.

I bought this initially to help my 2 month old soothe back to sleep instead of having to get up so often to place the pacifier back in. It has in fact worked like a charm! He is able to sleep more sound and only wakes to eat. If the pacifier pops out, we no longer play the paci pong game! The best feature is the Bluetooth setting!! I can control from my phone! The product works, I just don't know who would find it 'soothing'. The vibration is so intense and loud, even on the lowest setting. It would wake up my baby, not help her sleep. I even sat it up against the railing of the crib where she wasn't laying on it, yet it would still provide vibration- still too intense. I totally see that one review about how it could seem deafening if their little ears were right on it even on the second setting. I only tried it twice, so I can't attest to the battery drainage or wire issues others have mentioned. I wanted to love this so badly - returned. ... show more

Worked well for a week. The batteries definitely run out quickly with this especially if left on the continuous cycle. It really helped keep our baby asleep. However, roughly a week or so after having this I noticed it was really get weak even at more than half charge. I decided I would try rechargeable batteries and when I went to open the housing device. Liquid was seeping out of all of the batteries. They were a good brand and I have never had a problem with any of the other ones in the same package. And, I made sure to keep the mat dry from spills or accidents. Very frightening to think batteries were corroding right below my sleeping baby. Take my advice and skip this, and try to find a swaddle brand that works for your baby especially if they are really young. ... show more

This is amazing I would highly recommend. I purchased this for my grandson because my son said because I hold my grandson so much he is spoiled and doesn't want to sleep in his bed. I stated by letting the baby lay on it full body. Then notice by just having his head and upper body on it only he sleeps much longer. So where do I begin with this mat. My grandson loves the vibration so the mat works great under his mattress. The problem is the battery casing is made cheap. We use rechargeable batteries but the casing doesn’t hold the connection making it seem as if the batteries keep dying. This makes the mat very frustrating to use. Wish i could get a new one that worked better but coarse this didn’t start happening till after the 30 day return policy. ... show more

This is a terrible product it's too thick for a bassinet and two small for holding your baby. The baby has to stay on it just right for it to be effective. As others have said it is very strong vibration. It does not soft it's slightly stiff and it takes days for it to flatten out after it gets out of the box. Mine never flattened out. The app is terrible to use. Functions of the mat itself are hard to use because you can't find the buttons easily. ... show more
