  • Works well!
We LOVE this sunscreen! It works so well and we love that it isn’t toxic. It’s a little thick, but it’s great because you don’t have to apply it as often. Even at the beach! Which is a win for us and our 7 year old who gets tired of us coating her down. I wish they had more options of SPF levels. It is pricey for a small bottle, but worth it to know I’m not putting toxic cream on my family! ... show more

  • NO BURNS and no stains and blends easily and good for the reefs! WINNER - WINNER!!!
I am very pale and NEED sunscreen wherever sunny. I prefer mineral sunscreens as they do not ruin my white clothing like chemical ones do AND if I'm near water they are safe. This is the only mineral sunscreen I've tried, that actually BLENDS into my fair skin and prevents any burns - though I do tan through it and does not cause any rash after day upon day of use! ... show more

  • No stinging, watering eyes!
I NEED sunscreen every time I go out. Summer and winter. I have SLE. This stuff works and keeps my flares at bay year round. Highly recommend.

  • not really "sheer"
they claim that it's sheer, but it's really not. other than that, i believe it does the job.

  • Hawaii for a month and no sunburns!
All I will say about this sunscreen is I brought my pale-ass family of 4 (2 adults, 1 toddler, 1 baby) to Hawaii for a month. We used this sunscreen every day and got zero sunburns! Okay, I’ll say more. I love that I felt comfortable enough with the ingredients to use it on my children. It’s a mineral sunscreen so it does take effort to rub in, but it was worth it for us. We would just apply it to the kids sans-clothes and then dress them once it had soaked in. It’s definitely water resistant because we did a lot of swimming (making sure to reapply it after swimming was done). ... show more

  • Best Sunscreen. No eye-stinging!
A friend turned me on to this sunscreen and it is the ONLY sunscreen I use now. It rubs on smoothly, absorbs quickly and is not overly thick. I sometimes use this instead of my facial moisturizer in the morning if I know I'll be out in the sun for a while. Other mineral sunscreens cause sweat to pop out and sit on top of the sunscreen on my face, but this doesn't happen very much with this brand. I have problems with sunscreen making my eyes burn to the point where I can't see through the tears and inflammation. That happens with other hypo-allergenic sunscreens but not with this brand at all. What a relief! I bought some for my mother-in-law, who has not been able to wear sunscreen on her face for years until I gave her the Babo. ... show more

  • Seems to work well
I have a UV sensitivity, meaning I can't be exposed to sun for very long. So I always have sunblock in my purse. I prefer the mineral ones because of potential skin irritation (my skin can get very sensitive when in the sun). My biggest issue is most mineral sunblocks transfer the white film to clothes and well.. the car. Being the type of person who wears dark colored clothes (okay, black. Goths wear black) and having a black interior in my car (and I spend a lot of time in the car for work), getting white streaks all over everything is not ideal. I've noticed that this one doesn't transfer a lot of white onto my clothes or anything that I come in contact with. A little bit, yes. There will always be something. But they meant it when they said sheer. My last sunblock left behind a lot of white on everything. And it does seem to do its job for blocking UV rays. I'm not the best for assessing that because even in the 90°+ weather, I wear long sleeves and pants (the sunblock is for extra protection for the covered skin, protection for the little bit exposed skin). But on the little skin that's exposed, it seems to block as much as any other 50 SPF sunblock. I haven't seen much tanning, though I do avoid exposure at all costs, when I can't avoid it, the sunblock is working well. ... show more

  • DOESN'T PROTECT YOU FROM SUNBURN!
This "sunscreen" leaves a tacky film on your skin and it doesn't protect you from a sunburn. My husband and I used it on the first day of our trip to Cancun. Both of us got sunburned. I am a pale freckled ginger so I reapply ever 30 minutes. Luckily, I brought a backup sunscreen in case I didn't like this one. In my opinion, Pipette sunscreen is so much better than this sticky crap. Unfortunately, I missed the return window as I was on vacation. Threw the bottle in the trash. Big waste of money! ... show more
