The ruffles on the front cover my mommy pouch but do not make me look like I have some extra pounds😅, and it highlights my silhouette from my waist and hips. I personally love flowingness and smooth bouncyness the ruffles have, it adds charm to the tankini and it makes me feel beautiful. The length of the top was perfect and it didn't roll up while under water or going down water slides, yay! Another thing I love about the tankini is the bottom. Short shorts tend to roll up my thighs when I walk and it's very annoying having to keep adjusting it but I did not any issues with this shorts, they were very comfortable, not to tight or to loose. I read through a lot of the reviews before buying this suit. I was a little worried about the reports of the color fading, so I waited until after using it before I write this review. Here are the important points: 1. I am so glad I took the advice of one review to buy a swim sports bra for it. I love the sports bra I got with it and I wouldn’t have liked the swimsuit without it. (I have big girls) 2. I swam in a pool with this swimsuit for about 2 hours and I do not see that it has faded in color at all. I don’t expect that it will fade anytime soon. 3. The bottoms are comfortable but not near as control-top as I would like/expected. 4. While swimming, the top kinda stays down but not very well, which I guess is to be expected. But since the bottoms aren’t controlling at all, I would feel more comfortable if the top stayed down just a little better. 5. The shorts ride up a little. I felt like I was constantly pulling down the legs of them. This wasn’t a huge inconvenience, just a minor annoyance. The take-away: I really like the suit, it’s very cute. Paired with the white sports bra, it’s my favorite look. There are a few things I would change about it (as mentioned above) but I’m happy with my purchase. ... show more

Pros: Built in cups and layers flatter a larger figure The top is an awesome color Shorts have decent coverage and stay put Cons: I ordered the recommended size and one size smaller would have fit better, especially on top Top and bottom are slightly different colors of orange, which looked weird The layers of the top float in the water, leaving belly exposed This suit is fine for laying on a raft or lounging by the side of the pool. At first review this swim set meets the expectation as described colors vibrant, top flowy, bottoms were shorts.. like vs shorties if you're familiar... Quality of the fabric is fine... you get what you pay for. You can't see through the top, but the fabric is definitely light weight than the higher end suits. I usually wear between an 18/20 and C bust, based on reviews, i ordered 4xl. Though the top was comfortable it was loose in the bust area. Bottoms - Prior to trying on, I did notice a little hole in the crotch area though... sticker was still present and it didn't appear worn. I tried on w undies that had stripes and i could totally see the stripes and their colors, but i'm sure if you go without OR with a solid pair under, it wouldn't be obvious and transparent. The bottoms fit nicely and was comfortable. I can't speak to how it holds up with use, since I didn't get to use it. With that, I'm returning the suit.. i may order a size down to see if the fit is better. ... show more

Super comfy, love the color, and very flattering. I wish it had the bottom layer fitted so it doesn’t flare up but that isn’t a huge deal. It also doesn’t really have any support even with the cups put in, they’re pretty much it and stand alone. Tightening the straps helped though. I wore it on two float trips and it was great both times. I had a pair of board shorts on over the bottoms just for extra coverage, and with the top I was completely comfortable when we stopped to eat and the group decided to eat at a sit down restaurant. ... show more
