My son hits lots of home runs with this and now my younger son wants one. The handle is ergonomic. It’s a bit heavier than some other bats but when he swings early he cranks it into the outfield. He’s in 4th grade rec and travel BB. And he would recommend it.

My 12yo son is a pretty consistent power hitter, so I got this for him to try out. So far it's working out pretty well. I got the 30/-5, which is slightly heavier than he is used to, so there was a little bit of an adjustment period. It has a nice loud sound when you hit the sweet spot, but it does k
ind of have a dull thud when you don't. I think the thing that will take the most adjustment is the handle. Since it looks like an axe and somewhat feels like one, it will take some time getting used to. If you're a kid just starting out, you will need to figure out how to hold it or watch a video, so it might not be great for someone new to baseball. Overall it feels balanced and doesn't sting as bad (according to my son) when he hits the ball. Compared to another alloy bat, it feels slightly better and has allowed him to hit farther and harder (but that could also be due to the slight increase in weight). It is a nice and cool looking option for your Little Leaguer, and it's definitely a bat that will turn heads.
