  • WOW! LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PEN!
I recently ordered the Kindle Scribe as well as a Supernote Nomad (A6X2). My Kindle came with a pen but I did not order a pen from Supernote. Instead, I have been testing out different EMR pens to see which "off brand" ones are the best. This one is a clear winner! (But it is also the priciest.) So far, I have tested out 5 different brands, including the one that came with my Kindle. Here are a few things that stood out to me on this pen and how it compares to others: - It feels good to hold it. There is a weight to it that makes it feel more substantial than most of the styluses I have tested. It's not quite as "heavy" as the Kindle pen, but nearly identical in weight. I have only had one other pen that was slightly heavier. It is a little top heavy though. Not enough to bother me, but worth mentioning. - The plastic material of the pen has a good texture to it. It's not slick like some of the other pens I've tried. It's almost a matte finish. It's hard to describe. It's the only pen I have that has this kind of feel to it. It makes it feels more grippy without being irritating. - It writes where it's supposed to write! That sounds weird, but I have recently tried out a pen where the lines are being drawn slightly behind the nib where I am writing and it drives me nuts. This one is perfectly calibrated and writes where the nib touches the screen. - The "eraser" part of the pen does not work on my nomad (none of them do), but it works perfectly on my Kindle Scribe. The only downside to this eraser is that it's rather flat and harder to precisely erase with it. But you can still use the eraser tool with the pen tip if you need to use a more precise eraser. (The Kindle is horrible about precision anyway no matter what the pen is.) - While this pen is amazing it does have the faintest little clacky sound from the nib when you write with it. Not enough to bother me and it's not all the time, but I did notice it. It's very very faint and most people probably wouldn't even notice it. - The magnet is probably the "worst" part of the pen. I have it in quotes because I don't need the magnet on it but it's worth mentioning if you do. While it does "stick" to the side of my Kindle, it's super weak and can be knocked off easily. I wouldn't trust it to stay connected without it being in a case of some sort. I would absolutely order this pen again and again. Even without the side button... (which I found to be more of a problem for me than anything else. ) ... show more

  • This is the alternate stylus that's my favorite
This alternative to the brand's stylus has a lighter pen heft than the original, but has a better pen heft than all the other alternative styluses that I have sampled with my ReMarkable 2, AND the pen's barrel has an actual texture, so you can feel it better and grip it more easily. Other alternative styluses have smooth plastic feeling barrels, whereas this one has a little bit of a, I guess, grainy texture around it, which makes it feel softer to hold! It's also not as light/hollow as some of the other alternatives that are out there, also a plus! The nib writing itself is comparable to the original brand's stylus in all 3 marker widths, from thin to thick, unlike some other alternate styluses that are out there. I have tried 4 alternatives and compared them against one new replacement ReMarkable 2-branded stylus (I lost the first one, and paid for the expensive replacement. That replacement's eraser head snapped and the company wouldn't replace or repair it!). This one has got the best similarities to the branded one. Especially the rounded eraser head, which clicks down nicely while I'm erasing, and springs back when I stop. It has the best pressure-responsiveness, and responsiveness to the angle of the nib. It also doesn't lag, has smooth control, and good marker capture. It notices all my dots and when I cross my T's, and overall, is the best alternative stylus I've sampled, although there was one strange incident when it repeatedly "skipped" in the same area. It might have been my angle/speed. I recommend this stylus for anyone who has lost or broken their original one, though, for the price and performance and pen-feel. ... show more

  • didnt work
This didn't work with my galaxy tablet or phone that has an S-pen already. Its a nice feeling pen and seems like if it worked I would really like using it to draw and write. I don't have anything else to try it with.

  • overpriced
This is overpriced, there are a lot of other EMR pens that are a better value, but it works great, and it’s very comfortable to hold.

  • This Awinner Stylus is the Best
For my Kindle Scribe, I've tested styli from Libreath, eiP, Nillkin, and this stylus from Awinner, and this Awinner is the best for many reasons. First, it's the most sensitive. This is seen especially on the pencil setting. Angle and pressure gradients are super smooth as you change your pressure and angle on the stylus/screen. Second, although the eraser tip is flat on top it's rounded on the sides. As a matter of fact, it is the same shape as the eiP stylus. The difference is that the Awinner eraser's spring loading is less than the eiP, so a lighter touch is needed to erase. It feels very natural. Third, the stylus body itself is special and more like a writing instrument than the others. From the writing tip to a quarter way up the pen body, the sides are like a pencil, so you're not rotating the stylus in your fingers to get the best, most comfortable grip. Each position feels great. The entire stylus body is textured. Every other stylus is smooth plastic; it's hard to get a comfortable grip. This Awinner is so tactile feeling a great grip is all you get! Fourth, the length and weight of the Awinner stylus are very much like the original Kindle Scribe stylus. It feels great in the hand, well-balanced and substantial. You can save money buying other styli, but none even come close to the writing experience of this Awinner stylus. Do I even have to say it? It's a winner! (Sorry. Couldn't resist. Too easy.) ... show more
