  • Good functionally but finish quality leaves a bit to be desired.
I like this stand and I am using it with my Behringer 2600 and maybe some other modules I might buy. The design is pretty good. It seems sturdy and provides goods angles on the upper platform. One major thing that I took away the star for is that some of the parts were visibly scratched and one of the caster's threads was a bit too tight and had to apply quite a bit of force to screw it in. I managed to hide most of the scratches but if you are picky might need to get lucky. One more thing that would make it even better, is if there was a better option for using it without wheels. Wheels are nice but add to the height which in my case is not what I needed so I ended up unscrewing the caster wheels. The problem is that the caster threads are on the bottom side of the bottom beams and are made with a use of welded nuts, and they stick out from the bottom beams. Right now, for me this is not an issue as I had it standing on a carpet but if you wanted it on wooden floor, you might need some protection as these nuts can scratch your floors if you end up moving the stand. Overall, I am happy and would recommend it with the two above mentioned caveats. ... show more

  • Just bought another one
Hi, this product is sturdy, great value, and easy to assemble. Everything seemed perfect until I started mounting rack devices in the lower section: The problem is that the square rack mount holes (for each 1U) are supposed to be measured in groups. Each 1U has holes positioned at (0.25"-hole-0.625"-hole-0.625"-hole-0.25"), so the holes from 1U to the next 1U are 0.5" apart. This pattern has to match on each side of the rack. They got the right side tracks welded on correctly, but the left side tracks are off by 1 hole. I was still able to get my rack items mounted, but instead of 2x0.625" (or 1-1/4" within each 1U space), my holes are 0.625"+0.5" (or 1-1/8" within each 1U space... and 0.625" up to the next 1U. Sorry if you can't follow this "clear as mud" explanation but if you look at a rack dimension drawing diagram like they have on wikipedia, you'll understand. The gist is that the left side vertical rack rails do not match the right side vertical rack rails. I would need a new entire left side post to fix this, however, I have been able to fit the mounting holes of the misaligned left side, with a little bit of effort. For the price, this rack is really amazing... except for the outlined flaw and that's minor. Everything else was great. I have plans to buy another one of these for a future Behringer 2600 synth which will take 8U. By the way, there is 9U in the bottom portion of the rack and up to 12U in the top. If you are clever you can get 10U in the bottom. Love this rack. UPDATE: The Behringer 2600 will arrive this week which is 8U. Another 3U for a eurorack rack full of modules to compliment the Behringer 2600... for example, two more 2600-VCO modules. ... show more

  • Fits the Behringer 2600!
[EDIT] I added a Behringer Eurorack 19" adapter and it's GREAT! I got this as a permanent home for my beloved BARP 2600. It fits great and overall I love it. Feels quite sturdy and the casters roll well. Was simple to put together. I installed the crossbars below the synth, but I'm pretty sure those are only included for holding a mixer or something on top that isn't rack mountable. I do have a few nitpicks, but nothing that would keep me from recommending it: 1. It's not really 9U. I think it's 12U maybe? I don't mind it, but was surprised at how large it is. On the other hand, there's about 6" of space left at the bottom, which would be perfect for a few Eurorack utility modules... Update: I ended up doing this and I love it! See last pic. 2. I wish it were taller, or height-adjustable. My desk is counter height (36"), so it's not quite as short as it seems in the pictures. And it's fine this way really, I just wish it were taller is all. 3. The bars that go on the bottom just lie there, there is no way to permanently mount them. I guess they work if you want to put something down there, but otherwise they just slide around. I'm gonna ditch them. 4. I wish the washers and casters and rack-mount screws were black. I'm really scraping the bottom of the barrel here for nitpicks. ... show more

  • Could be better
In general, I liked the product. I think it could have been better. Some pieces were bent and some other had a lot of scratches everywhere. You could tell it was an item that was returned, repackaged and sold again. The box were I received it was all ripped and thanks God nothing was missing. I kept it cuz I needed it. ... show more

  • More than expected for the price.
The media could not be loaded. The stand is sturdy enough to securely hold a mixer board on the adjustable surface and misc. powered amplifiers, power distributors, etc. on the vertical rack. Obviously, common sense should dictate the size and weight of the equipment since this doesn't have rear rack posts huge items like a 100lbs UPS or deep shelf item like a blade server would be silly. The casters are smooth and their brakes work well with a solid feeling to the lock so you know they are engaged. Other reviews have mentioned weak packaging and missing parts. My experience is similar the box is weak, cheap and thin. My stand was short 8 washers (the instructions say that extra were included for stability) and the two larger knobs used to lock the adjustable surface in place were 1/2" short and unable to screw into the nuts welded for the purpose (which is fine by me, 2 pins are just as secure and faster for adjustment). From my past experiences with much costlier server racks I was anticipating a nightmare getting the rack assembled and was pleaseantly surprised with the results after ten minutes. I would buy this rack again without reservation if I needed it again. I suggest that you expect minor issues with this product that you might be able to avoid if you bought a more expensive rack stand. ... show more

  • Great stand..
Waiting on my rack ear attachments for my mixer.. but works well without it. Easy assembly. Looks like it’s gonna be perfect for my live application. I eventually need to add some rack mount unita, so this was perfect for me.
