I suspect conflicting reviews are due to the fact that many different models are listed in one listing, a bad practice by Amazon. RE: 5" D ring in Blue: Covers have clear covers so you can insert your own cover front and back and pockets on the inside. If you pull the rings (forget to use the "BUTTON", you will break the mechanism and then the rings will never close properly again. Really bad design, someone is bound to forget and try to pull the rings apart to open the binder since many binders work this way and it become a habit to open them. ... show more
