I primarily got this for the camera, because I've had trouble finding a decent mid-grade webcam lately, and it doesn't look like the availability problem is getting much better. Camera operation: Great! It's not perfect, but overall this is ideal for the purpose of using it as a webcam for a weekly family Zoom call. I got it for my parents, so when I was testing it out, to me the the plug-and-play option was critical. Which of course it was. A clean, sharp picture comes up right away and in default mode, it's not too bad. The lighting is a bit off, and facial tones seem a little bit discolored, but that can be easily tuned in the CamEngine software. The problem with the CamEngine software is that it's a bit trickier for older folks to use easily (in my experience) so I made a note of it in my test-runs, and spent more time going over it with them in person. Overall I was able to set it up in seconds and use it effectively, and then sending it to my parents, they were able to also get it up and running. So that's a win! The headphones weren't my primary reason for getting this set, but they worked better than expected. The mic is just about perfect (from what everyone on the other end says), and one video conference attendee said it rivaled my normal professional mic. The sound is fine, but it's not really designed or marketed as a high-level headset. it's perfectly functional though, and if you're using it for voice and voice chat, it's got everything you need. It's also a lot lighter than I expected, but that doesn't sacrifice sound quality that I can tell. I feel comfortable leaving them on for hour-long zoom calls there are others in the room. All together, this was better than what I expected, and I would easily recommend the set to anyone who's looking to modestly upgrade their SOHO setup for conference calls. ... show more

If you want to look your best on your next video conference, you should consider upgrading your webcam. This set has both a webcam and a headset. The camera takes clear and crisp video and gives you a wide angle. You can adjust the brightness and contrast easily. This set is ready to go out of the box. I highly recommend this product. I must say I have a lot of AVerMedia products and I have enjoyed them all so far. This conferencing kit is no different! First off, the webcam & headphones feel well made and don't feel cheap. The webcam is a nice size and is easy to mount on your monitor or just about anywhere. The headset is very comfortable to wear and is completely adjustable. The foam pads on the ears and the top of the head really help to add to that experience. Everything was very simple to setup, it's basically plug and play. The headset is wired, which some people really like, but for me, I prefer wireless. This isn't a deal breaker for me by any means, but just a preference of mine. The webcam's picture quality is pretty good for what it is. The video is crisp and clear. The audio from the headset is also very nice and everyone on the other end was able to hear me just fine. The sound is not muffled or distorted in anyway. This set could also be used as a decent setup for gaming on live streaming platforms. All things considered, this is a really nice set that works exactly as described and other than the wired headphones, I absolutely love it! ... show more
