The mounting and wiring harness is super easy, I don’t like if you just wire it to the battery that the switch has a red led that is always on when the vehicle is off, and the beam pattern is a flood light, but they are nice and bright and the quality so far seems good

The media could not be loaded. This review is for the Auxbeam 90W 4" round spot lights (Spent around $90/pair). I purchased these lights because I have one of their 50" light bars on my side by side and it has been great. The lights came well packaged. They don't feel cheap and seem to be good quality for what you pay. I would say they are in the top tier of "budget" lights on Amazon. They came with all the wiring and switch required to install on any vehicle. The light output is pretty good. The spot pattern does not have the typical hot spot that you would expect with a spot pattern beam. The beam travels a good distance down the road, much further than what you'd typically be using regularly. The pattern is closest to a spot flood combo. The beam goes far and wide. With the lights mounted on my "A" pillars, the light spreads to the sides enough to see both sides of the road clearly at the front of the vehicle. After a couple weeks of use the lights developed condensation on the inside of the lense. I reached out to Auxbeam and they were very quick to respond and resolve the issue. It seems the vent on the back of the lights is fake. After removing the vent the hole doesn't go all the way through the vent piece. The opening in the housing does go all the way through the back of the housing. It would have probably been less work for them to make the vent actually work. Maybe do like some other manufacturers do and put vented cloth material over the vent hole. Overall, considering the price, quality and customer service, I would highly recommend these lights if it's not in your budget to spend 3 times the price for one of the big name brands. I would purchase Auxbeam products again without hesitation as they have great products at a great price with excellent customer service. I'll update this review after running the lights for a longer period of time to determine longevity. ... show more

    • Extremely Bright - Fuse Issue

These lights are extremely bright. I bolted them to the side of my truck to shine out to the side for night coyote hunting. And they do amazing. They shine easily 300 yards. Only problem I experienced, is out of the box, when I switch them on while driving my vehicle, the fuse immediately pops. It comes with a 15 amp fuse, and it even popped my 40 amp fuses. I unplugged one light and it worked fine. I still haven’t worked that issue out. But, it could be an issue on my side. Overall I’d highly recommend these as most people are probably less likely to experience the same fuse issue. ... show more

I mounted these to a 90’s vehicle with headlights that are sufficient but nowhere near as bright as modern lights. They definitely supplement the high beams and bring them up to par with modern cars. I usually use the lights on white only, but the amber mode is helpful in bad weather since it doesn’t glare as much as white. Interestingly, these lights have a mode where you can run white and amber simultaneously which softens the color temperature to about the same as the regular headlights, only far brighter. There are also flashing modes which I don’t need but people who do road construction, lane closures, etc could make use of. All of the wiring is included and it all plugs in so you won’t need to cut or splice any wires. All you have to do is run the wires through your bodywork and connect to the battery. I bought these for my jon boat which I run a lot at night; mostly in the intercoastal waterway and surrounding creeks. I put on 4 lights; 2 to front and center and 1 to front left and 1 to the front right. The side facing lights illuminate the banks and the 2 front shine ahead. The lights are very bright with a tight spot focus and its like running on the highway. I am really pleased with the performance and wish I had gotten something like this sooner. ... show more
