This product was great for my van build because I could put the switches in an accessible place, but run all the wiring and fuse block to a central location I could easily get to for service. After 2 years of use, the unit had an issue (circuit stuck on), and the manufacturer quickly sent me a replacement part after contacting them on the website. The quality is good and made for a slick instal. My only tiny gripe ... I wish there were more options for the symbols to go on switches. ... show more

The product arrived very quickly and packaged very very well. It was relatively simple to install and it seems to work quite well. I’ve only had it installed for a couple of days, but I have no complaints. It would be nice however if the manufacturer provided some double stick tape for the switch panel itself, but that’s just a very minor concern and does not impact the installation at all. ... show more

I purchased this item some time ago and only recently installed it. Unfortunately, when I tried to use it, the switch panel wouldn't work. I contacted themto let them know about the issue. They responded promptly and sent me a brand new replacement, which arrived within just five days. I installed the new one and it works perfectly. Very happy with it. I don't usually leave reviews for products I buy, but I felt it was important to do so in this case. Although I'm typically buy-once = cry-once type of guy and don't care about cost, it is hard to ignore that this was significantly less expensive than the Switch Pro. Plus, it's much easier to mount and adding new accessories seems much simpler as you just screw wires into terminals. Whatever the price, things can be defective. It is good to know that even thought the price is pretty low that they stand behind their products. Their customer service was amazing. They responded right away and provided frequent updates. Only issue now is I need to buy more stuff to plug into it. ... show more

    • Unbelievably Good AND CHEAP Wiring Solution!
This is a very good wiring solution for up to 8 different electrical items (lights, winches, compressors, fans, pumps, lockers, external sound system etc etc etc). Extremely easy to install. This unit comes with multiple different mounting options to cover almost any normal mounting need. It is so nice to be able to run all the wires under the hood to this one unit and only have to run the control unit wire inside the cabin and get up to 8 different things controllable by one small switch panel! This unit comes with a whole sticker sheet of options to label your switches with, so no matter what-you should have what you need on that sheet. I currently have a 52” curved LED light bar, two 6” round LED lights on the windshield pillars, two 4” multi-purpose LED cubes and a serious center 4” cube-all on the front bumper bar. I also have 4 more 6” round LED lights that I’m going to mount this week (weather permitting). The new front winch should be here before the new year and next will be the new custom roof rack with a whole slew of lights and other accessories that will be going on that. Excellent bang for the buck wiring soliton. Looking forward to being off-road and running a bunch of these lights at the same time for a while. If you need to clean up your accessory wires and have one small panel to control 8 different things-get this RIGHT NOW! They do make one that only has 6 switches if you don’t need 8. I might add another one in the future just for the roof rack accessories-we’ll see. I’ll cross that bridge after the rear battery is in and the solar panel and charge controller are all in. They even have a couple different color options for the switch panel lights-at least green and blue, maybe more? Excellent buy! GREAT seller who stands behind their products and will make sure all is right. Oh yeah, my vehicle that I installed this unit in is my 1998 Jeep Cherokee XJ Limited. The design of the 8 gang is just easier to install and use compared to the 6 gang. I would recommend spending the extra $$. As someone who had a switch pro previously, what is missing is a memory feature of previous state when turning off. I.e. I have drl and fogs that I like to always turn on. I have to manually hit on when starting up. Is that feature worth the price difference? Probably not but would have made this awesome. ... show more

Really like these switch panels. This is my second kit, first was installed on a Tacoma, this one was installed on my 08 Jeep Wrangler. The universal brackets that come with the kit are kinda meh, but if you have any fab skills at all they are very handy to modify and make your install look super clean. I have not had any issues whatsoever in either kit. Ideas for future product improvement would be to have a couple extra fuse slots in the under hood panel for things like a cigarette lighter plug that benefit from having power all the time rather than switch on/off. Another idea would be for a couple extra wires internal to the firewall cable that can run into the cab and have power full time that would also be tied into a coulle extra fuses in the underwood panel. This would benefit things like a 12v fridge freezer that requires power full Time. Excellent bang for your buck value, great fitment, feels quality and works well. ... show more

Seems more durable than the previous switch panel it replaced. Love that it comes with its own fuse block. Makes wiring lights up so much easier. Only downside i can find is the positive battery cable is not very long. I had to fabricate a bracket for the fuse block as my battery is on the passenger side and the firewall access grommet into the cab is on the driver side.
