I finally convinced myself to buy this for my 80s chevy truck for some accessory lighting and Im glad i did. It is hard to tell in the product photos but it is very well made. The main button console would appear to be machined aluminum and powdercoated for a very nice finish. The fusebox is molded plastic and very durable with a water resistant design as well as weep holes to drain any water that may end up inside it. all of the wiring is very neat and simple to setup and install. the stickers for the buttons are of good quality and there are lots of variety for anything you want to power. I would buy it again or even the bigger models with more buttons for a hotrod or racecar to have all of the functions like fuel, ignition, start, waterpump, fans, headlights. For people who like minimalism and clean car builds and only want a small control panel flush mounted on the dash this is the product for you, with some slight modifications or lengthening to the original harnesses you can mount the fusebox anywhere you want for a clean engine bay thats show worthy. The media could not be loaded. Wasn’t super thrilled about spending so much money on lights, but I did have a couple that needed wired in, and I figured since it was more than one it would be worth the price. I was so glad I did! It took me about 30 minutes to install it, which my vehicle made it easier with a hole already through the firewall. But the complete kit made it hassle-free with everything included that you would ever need to install it properly and cleanly. The Auxbeam 8 switch is pretty straightforward to connect. I had some logistical issues with mounting the unit under the hood of my JKU Jeep, but otherwise, it went well. That being said, I am very novice in vehicle electrical installation. The unit looks good and feels solid; it is well made. The only thing that may become an issue for someone trying to install this system in their vehicle, is the length of the power supply leads to the battery. They are short, especially if you are going to the opposite side of where your battery is located in the engine bay. Plan accordingly and you may have to buy longer power wires. I only have one set of offroad lights connected for the moment (plan on getting more), but the switch works well and the light instantly come on. ... show more

Really like these switch panels. This is my second kit, first was installed on a Tacoma, this one was installed on my 08 Jeep Wrangler. The universal brackets that come with the kit are kinda meh, but if you have any fab skills at all they are very handy to modify and make your install look super clean. I have not had any issues whatsoever in either kit. Ideas for future product improvement would be to have a couple extra fuse slots in the under hood panel for things like a cigarette lighter plug that benefit from having power all the time rather than switch on/off. Another idea would be for a couple extra wires internal to the firewall cable that can run into the cab and have power full time that would also be tied into a coulle extra fuses in the underwood panel. This would benefit things like a 12v fridge freezer that requires power full Time. Excellent bang for your buck value, great fitment, feels quality and works well. ... show more

So I have a tendency to keep adding lights to my Subaru Crosstrek. The problem was I started getting tired of drilling holes for toggle switches in my dash panel. This set up makes the install a dream! Instead of constantly trying to fish wires through the firewall I now only have one wire going through and the rest of my lights wires only go to my engine bay and if I want to add more lights which I know I will the installs will go so much smoother now. I would recommend if you have any thought on constantly adding more lights whether is light bars, rock lights, accent lighting ect. you might want to go with the 8 switch panel as six switches will fill up fast. ... show more

I purchased the Auxbeam switch because I didn't want to buy the SwitchPros which was a lot more money. The Auxbeam was very simple to install and had multiple different mounting options. The only thing I had to buy extra was an extension of the head unit wire wasn't long enough to place in my 2010 Tundra. Other than that I am very happy the hook ups are very simple. I would recommend if your going to be adding a lot of accessories to your vehicle add a Terminal connector to your battery instead of layering all the wires to the battery factory terminal. I'm looking forward to adding more accessories to the gang switch for easy activation. ... show more
