Rack was a little tricky to put together with no indication which is the "right" or "left" of the vehicle. I eventually figured it out. The stickers did not peel off that easily. The fourth purchase is the charm. My first Amazon purchase of a roof rack crossbars was canceled because it was lost in the warehouse. The second purchase from another manufacturer was delivered without hardware. The third was also delivered without hardware. So I tried another manufacturer.... This one. I was purchasing the cheaper options labeled as new. I wasted a month of my time but I was seeking a deal because $100 for two pieces of aluminum does seem crazy. I can tell you that all the side rails regardless of the seller all look identical. The way they are packaged causes the box to be damaged and the hardware to disappear. After a month of reordering and waiting, the purpose I needed it for came and went. So I decided I now had the time ( need it again this time next year) to take another risk with my order. I found this set as new on on the Amazon Lightning deal for $62. Amazon says it will not fit my 2017 Nissan Rogue. The specs say otherwise. Who shall I believe? I took the risk and bought it. This Autosavers88 Bar set does not come with a logo printed on it. The box was a whole lot smaller than the others I received. I immediately assumed it wasn't going to work out. I was wrong. The product was packaged without two parts connected on the bars. That made the box smaller. It was properly packaged and wrapped for protection with all the hardware and fortunately with instructions. Yes can you believe it had instructions? The instructions say the product is for 2014-2016 Nissan Rogue. Yet the measurements are identical for my 2017 Nissan Rogue. I installed it and it fit. In my head I think the crossbars should be flat on top but they are tilted a little. I must assume that has something to do with wind flow? I don't think it has anything to do with my car being a 2017. Am I wrong? I don't know. My largest question was where were the eight washers supposed to go. After I put it on I wondered if the washers were for a different location. The instructions do not say specifically. I'm a girl. I installed it slowly. I had a small mirror so I could see the screw holes easily. It could have been done in 15 minutes but I worked slowly because I wanted to be sure I got it right. A man came along and volunteered to help but I proceeded along alone. This isn't rocket science it is eight bolts, eight screws and a eight washers. Since the screws were pre-attached on the bar without washers they had to removed to install the parts on the end of the rails. I assume the washers were for the connection to the car? That is how I used them. If I am wrong then the washers were for the bar connection. I did call the 1-800 help line. No one answers. You can leave a message. I didn't. I'm done. I'm satisfied. I think it will work. It is tight. ... show more
