Look, they are great…made right…etc! What you really need to know is that installation help is needed. Also, the “front” and “rear” marking stickers are there for vehicle placement, not which leading edge goes forward. The installation instructions are a bit inconclusive.

    • Cheap! Poor Quality! Don't waste your money!
I struggled with this product for far too long and ultimately had to give up due to a defective part. There is a metal brace that has a gold threaded receptacle that is supposed to be in a fixed position so you can screw a screw into it in order to attach the rail to the roof. 3 of the brackets were fine, but 1 of them just spins when you try to insert the screw, so I was not able to tighten it. The other 3 brackets were fine, but I had to disassemble it since I couldn't tighten the last one. Overall, the parts are poor quality and I would not recommend this product! ... show more

We needed these so we could mount a roof rack on our Grand Cherokee for a cross country trip. They arrived just in time for a scheduled appointment with an installer. When i got to the installer and opened the box i noticed the end caps where cracked. Since we were already at the installer there was no time to exchange it before our trip. We went ahead and installed the cross bars with the roof rack and light bar on top of them. (Note: I helped do the install it was very easy) I ended up using black gorilla tape to keep the end caps on until we got back. They looked and worked great we had a successful trip. The whistling sound i've read about in the reviews is there for sure, it's not constant and we got used to it. I wrote the seller before and after we returned to send me a new set of end caps. As i explained the cross bars were installed with the roof rack and light bar so i could not remove them without undoing all the previous work. I assumed it was no big deal to get new end caps. I've had no response or correspondence of any kind with the seller. I still have duck tape on the end caps to keep from loosing them. Over all: Pros: Not bad for the price they fit well and look good. They hold all the weight of the roof rack tire and equipment. Price was right. Easy to install. Cons: Order with time to spare in case they arrive damaged. Don't count on any customer service. Whistles on the highway ... show more

YouTube installation instructions before pulling your hair out. The paper included doesn't give you everything you need to know as several steps are missing. Once figured out, easy.
