We purchased this door as we have been having issues with something getting in and getting our chickens at night. We purchased this so we could control the door and keep unwanted guests out at night. Very easy install. Can either schedule the open and close or can use a remote control. So far is working great and have had no issues. Very easy to install and setup schedules. Solid aluminum construction on the door and frame. I like the long cord on the solar panel so it will reach out from coop to a sunny spot on the fence. The remote is nice for days I want to keep the chickens in or out without having to crawl in the run to manually close the door

The media could not be loaded. Or at least they will when the coop is done. Lol But before relying on something automatic I decided to test it for several days first. I tested all the features for opening and closing. The current settings are for timed opening and closing which I plan to use. It also works with light sensors to open when the sun comes up. The solar panel works well to charge the internal battery and it lasts for several days without additional sunlight. It can also be charged using the included usb-c cord and a battery pack if the need arises. Additionally it has a remote as seen in the short video I included. I probably won't use it but it's nice that it came with one. I can't wait to get the new coop done and have this fancy door on it so they can cluck away outside and I can sit inside and enjoy my coffee. I will update if there are any issues in the long term. ... show more

Nice automatic door with remote control option. This is a solid door unit not like some other one that are roll up doors, I prefer the solid door. Nice LCD display makes for easy programming and set-up. The solar panel is USB-C, I tested this for charging a small usb flashlight and it worked, curious how powerful the solar panel is. So far very excited for the little project I have in store for this thing. ... show more
