Like how thick the socks are. Fit comfortably. Batteries not too bulky. Batteries last about 8 hrs full charge on low settings. Medium setting around 6hrs, 4hrs on highest settings. Don’t need highest settings all the time and can run the on low and keep your feet comfortable. Takes about 5 hrs to recharge them. If you work outside all day like I do they work wonder at keeping your feet warm. Down side I have of them are. That they last only 8hrs. So when you work 20 hrs in the cold like I do. You definitely will need an extra set of batteries for them. I would recommend they package another set of batteries for them with them. ... show more

I'm about 6 feet tall, and these socks are a little tight to put on, but still a great product that I strongly recommend. I bicycle 1 to 2 hours all throughout the year. On those cold frigid days, my feet go numb very quickly. Makes the ride so much more difficult when your feet hurt from the cold. These electric socks do the trick. I love 'em! Now I can bicycle for two hours without my feet freezing. Another great feature is that there are 3 levels of heat you can choose from. These socks are cute and sort of warm, but the electric part really doesn’t do much. I can’t tell when they are turned on. My son has a pair and it’s the same with those. So it’s a lot of money for standard ski socks that don’t heat up any more when turned on.

    • These definitely work, but haven't tested yet in outdoors cold - great for around the house for sure.
Colder weather will be arriving soon. Since my son and I go fishing as late in the year as we can, oftentimes through November, we end up having to deal with the cold. The biggest issue we have is with cold feet which can totally make a person miserable. I decided to give these socks a try and I have to say, I think they may help. I'm currently sitting in my office with them on and I had to turn them from high to medium because they actually felt too hot on my feet. On medium, they provide a noticeable warmth. My only concern is that the heat is in a pretty small, localized area and I'm not 100% sure it will actually mitigate the cold on my toes which is the primary area where my feet get uncomfortable. I've tried pulling the socks down a bit, closer to them and that may help on a cold winters day but I'll really have to wait and see. I would really love to see these designed to provide the warmth at the toe area. The socks are nice and thick and actually seem like they would provide a lot of warmth just by themselves. The only issue I have with the socks themselves is that they only extend up midway through my calf. They are a good 5 inches down from the bend in my knee. I wish they were longer. ... show more

Bought these for my daughter for ice fishing, hunting or general cold weather outings. She loves them. They do only heat on the top of the foot but they keep her feet from freezing so it works. I like that the batteries are at the top so they are easily accessible and they have 3 heat settings so you can easily reach the batteries to change settings. I was excited for this product, but the few times that I used these, I have tried different levels of settings the highest, medium and lowest and they all do the same thing which is burn the top of my feet, them I have to take them off. I am pretty disappointed actually.

It’s not winter yet so I decided to charge this up full and test it. I ran this on low settings and it lasted about 5.5hours. The sock stayed warm enough all the time. Looking forward to try this in winter when it snows. The battery has a small compartment on top which does not feel uncomfortable. You might not be able to wear skinny jean because the battery bulges out. Rechargeable battery option is great but I wish it had AA or AAA battery to swap out quickly. ... show more
