We had an old projector we were using for movies in the basement, and it recently broke. It was probably 10 years old and was very big. I was surprised when I got this as it is probably less than half the size of the old projector. I was worried about the brightness and quality but I didn't need to be! The technology has obviously gotten much better over the years and this projector is quite good - very good picture quality and the brightness is strong. I have a couple projectors now and this one is simply my favorite! The image clarity is top notch! The colors are good but do wash out a lot with ambient light. I can play movies on a dark grey wall with no issue whatsoever. I can make the picture the size of the entire wall and it still looks great! The sound is on the quiet side. If you are disciplined, you can watch with no extra speaker. But, if you like to chit chat during movies you will need something to help the sound out. The keystone correction is easy to use, but the auto correct does not work well for my usages. This thing does put out some heat, so make sure its got plenty of open air around it. Its cool for something like camping or stuff like that. It just isn't very bright. You definitely are not watching anything if it isn't pitch black. The sound is surprisingly well and the menu and navigation is easy and works well. For kids or something like that, its great!

I bought this projector for occasional use in my back yard, and I couldn't be more pleased with it. It comes with HDMI cable, power cord, and remote, which requires two AAA batteries so be prepared to supply those. Setup is really simple, too. This projector is designed for table-top use and has an adjustable front foot to raise or lower it so you can aim it at your screen. I actually just used a white wall to test it and the colors are bright and clear. You turn on the projector, select the video source, focus the image using the adjustable lens, settle back and enjoy. The sound is decent but you can use headphones if you want or I could see adding something with a little more bass to get that real theater sound. For the price, you should definitely consider this one if you are shopping for a projector. Another feature that I like about this projector is that in the "settings" tab it allows you to zoom in or out. At present I have the zoom at maximum, the projector is 10 feet from the screen, and the image does not fill the screen. My preference is to mount it on the wall above my head which is maybe 18 feet away from the screen; without being able to zoom out, the resulting image would be far too large for the screen, but because the size of the image can be adjusted, I have the option of placing it pretty much anywhere I want in the house. ... show more

This is a great portable projector for camping in my opinion! It is very compact but still has a lot of great features. I really like that it has auto keystone correction along with zoom capability. I also like that it has many different inputs and outputs, and the WiFi and Bluetooth wireless capabilities are a big plus too. In addition, I like that a remote control was included which makes it simple to adjust the basic operations and menu functions. The video quality is very good for outdoor use at night and the built-in sound is decent although I do hook up an external speaker to it for better sound. Overall, I am very pleased with this product for use while camping, so I highly recommend it with five stars all the way! ... show more

Well, this is not a professional level projector. It is a pretty good quality projector for the size and cost. I wouldn't use it as a main outdoor movie projector for adults, but kids don't notice quality difference at all. We are actually using it to augment our decorations for Halloween and Christmas as project On various backgrounds. The projector is extremely easy to use and the remote works well. The quality is really good when not not too far from the source, but as you move farther away for a larger picture, it does tend to get a little lighter and blurrier.
