We have few vehicle in our shop. This scanner can handle Dodge Ram Pro-Master diesel & gas, Ford F-550, 350 diesel, and F-150 gas, and smaller Ford Transit van, Toyota corolla. Even Freight liner tractors (diesel). I'm sure other smaller vehicle this tool will work. Amazing tool scanner! It comes with different plug connectors for almost our entire fleet. On window screen menu, it has TPS menu for tires and tells you which tire sensor is bad w/ reset bottom. Engine & transmission error codes and tells you exact problem. Diesel glow plugs, injectors which cylinder is not working properly. On gas engine, tells you which spark plug miss firing or even sensor is bad. I haven't tired in my 2013 BMW X6 yet. I'm sure this scanner can scan that car as well. It comes w/ BMW adaptor. I highly recommend this tool sacanner. If you have few vehicle in your shop inventory and if you used this couple of times. I have been a tech for over 25 years. I needed a scan tool for home use. I've used Snap on OTC E-tech scan tools and many more at work. I've had this scan tool for about 6 months now. For the money it has been the best all around scan tool I've used. It is much more then an emissions only scanner. It accesses most modern control modules and has plenty of bilateral controls for testing. The OBD 1 hasn't been able to connect very well, but I haven't used it much. I am DIY mechanic, ran my own shop for several years, currently own a Snap-On Mt-2500 (outdated) I needed to update my tooling to match my vehicles. With all the research I chose this scanner because of the simplicity, user friendly and amount of equipment it comes with. Snap-On is a good brand but overpriced for minimal equipment. First time setting up was simple, connecting to my internet also easy registration easy I gave 4 star on tech support as I have not needed it yet but all the reviews and research showed that Autel cares about their product and want to satisfy. i wold recommend this product and others like it to anyone asking. I was looking for something that wasn't $4,000+ and was compatible with most cars,mainly domestics. This device was highly recommended by one of my friend who had being a shop manager and mobile mechanic for 30 years. After doing much reading I settled for the non-bluetooth unit, as I didn't want to experience any lag if there was some. The unit came well packed, it works amazing. It has being put to work for myaelf and otber frienda who are in the trade. The bad,if you will: one of the thumb screws on the cable that pluga to the unit itself wouldn't screw-in period. I gave Autel-USA a quick call and they were extremely helpful and sent me a replacement cable right away,which showed up two days later. And the issue with the thumb screw was resolved. This is the third Autel device that I have purchased. My first was the original Maxidas system that lasted me about 4 years before it needed to be replaced. I also own the Autel TPMS tools and this MS906. I like the Autel because for the price you get a diagnostic tool that can scan nearly every module in a vehicle including ABS, SRS and even programs keys and reset service lights. I was impressed by the MS906 out of the box. The device is thinner then the previous model and much faster. Unfortunately, 10 months into ownership, the digitizer has failed along the top of the screen. I can no longer select things that appear on the top of the touch screen. WARNING: If you need warranty service you have to send it back to China and they have many hoops to jump through that make the process confusing. ... show more
