Great scan tool used it at my old job working in the automotive field so I couldn’t go with another scan tool especially at a great price I think every one should get one at least if it’s your first scan tool you won’t need another I love how it comes with all the other adapters and how you’re able to download the software you need and it’s real easy to use autel is a well know. Diagnostics scanner and I see why people buy the scanner has good diagnostics test and easy to move with not too big or too small just right in size and it’s Bluetooth what more do you want connects to wifi quick I was able to set up my scanner pretty quick using my phone as a hot spot for wifi I love how it can code injectors and can flas ecus and go into turning on and off switch for testing I used it to diagnose my truck 03 gmc Yukon for a fuel pump issue I was able to give the fuel pump relay signal to turn on and off when I needed it and was able to see if I was getting pressure on the pump and seeing if I was getting voltage to the fuel pump as well I plan on using this for my personal use diagnosing vehicles I will definitely recommend this to all my family and friends I plan on using it and aquiering more add ons to the tool also I really appreciate the offer they give you after you buy the tool they make sure you’re happy with the product and they give you options of getting a camera or a hand held scanner I haven’t gotten to speak to the actual reps for help but I’m pretty sure they get back to you as soon as possible especially with this offer they’re giving me so yeah this sums up everything I feel and think about the scanner and the brand autel ... show more

    • Well Built Scanner.
Well made scanner. Very complex though. There is a learning curve to using this piece of equipment. This is a bi-directional scanner so that you can perform various tests on the vehicle. The PDF manual is 145 pages, plus many training videos to help the user get acquainted with the equipment. The built in software also has screen prompts to help along the way. First thing that I noticed is that the Bluetooth Dongle has a LED light in it to assist in finding the ALDL connector under the dash. Never seen this on any scanner. There are also colored LED indicator lights on the adapter to show activity. I use a 24" extension cable so that I can sit in the drivers seat and monitor the activity on the adapter. Beings that this scanner uses Bluetooth communication you can use it anywhere around the vehicle. The carrying case is a bit large to carry in a vehicle, so I am looking for a smaller padded bag to keep in the vehicle at all times. Yes I would recommend this scanner to someone that has some background experience in the automotive field. This scanner would be a bit much for a Novice.     • Great entry-level scantool
The good: Large vehicle coverage - Using this tool professionally, I've only run into 2 cars so far that it wouldn't communicate with, and with how often updates are released, odds are theyre now supported anyway. Fast - slower than you'd expect from a consumer android tablet of course, but compared to some others ive used, including my old Snap-On Solus Edge, the speed is impressive. TPMS diagnostics and relearns - this is the main reason I picked this scantool. has worked on everything I've needed it to faster and more reliably than the dedicated TPMS tool I was using before. cheap - I got this on sale for $1k, and for the price you really can't beat what it can do. yearly updates cost just under $800 a year, and then an additional $50 a year for FCA secure gateway access, which you'll need if you work on any Chrysler products. The Bad: Some of the updates are quite large - bmw and mercedes specifically are often 2-3GB each, and as the tool often wants to update every week, these can take a while if your shop's internet is slow. outdated version of android - tablet runs Android 4.4.2, which is now over 10 years old. This limits what other apps you can load onto it, which is a shame since theres a handful of apps I use for work that arent compatible requires internet access - many of the features of this scantool require an active internet connection to use. if you work at a shop with no wifi, and are unable to tether it to your phone, then this may be a deal-breaker for you. overall I'm very happy with this tool, and would recommend it to new mechanics shopping for their first scantool, and even more seasoned techs looking for something cheaper to replace their current one. ... show more

Great scan tool for the price, exceeds my expectations. Allows me to view and graph data and the many module commands make testing and diag a breeze. For the price that some scan tools cost, The Autel 906 TS allows me to do the same for a fraction of the cost. Autel Direct shipped out my package quickly and my package was well protected and arrived safely. Their customer support has been very helpful! This is a fantastic scan tool that does everything and beyond. It is a little bulky in the storage case department but a very nice and helpful tool. I have not had the chance to use every option available but this scan tool will last for years to come. Fairly simple device. It does take a little longer to set up if you are just looking to pull codes. This is more geared towards the diagnosing side of automotive repair, but it shows details and functions others don’t. ... show more
