The media could not be loaded. This is a really good scan tool for this price range. First of ease of use is great, took no time to set it up and start scanning cars. Does a wide variety of models, I haven't found anything it hasn't been able to scan yet. The amount of data it shows for the price point is amazing. And the reset functions are easy to use and there seems to be more reset than listed on the box. It does bi directional. The Bluetooth dongle really makes moving around with the scan tool a breeze. Speaking of which it is very light and easy to hold. Is this going to be a processional level everyday scanner? No. But most techs could easily get by with this and it's more than most diy mechanics would probably ever need. You really do get a lot of tool at this price point. ... show more

I was looking for a bidirectional scanner for some DIY jobs without breaking the bank. After I read the features of Autel newly released mk808k-bt and comparing to other models, I felt optimistic and decided to give it a go. Turns out it worked perfectly, it was able to pull the VIN number and found all of the codes from the car I worked on and I used a cheap scanner and it wasn't able to. Car is running perfect after I pin point and fixed the issue and owner reported it hasn't been running this great for the longest time. I had an old Xtool D7 that I used in a small automotive repair shop, and it didn't perform as well as advertised. Most of the special functions it claimed to have can only apply to certain years of models of cars. My biggest problem with it was lack of memory for the required software and its complicated user interface, which wasted so much of my time to let it do what I need it to do. I decided to give AUTEL MK808K-BT a try, and it's not only working, but it exceeded all of my expectations! So far I've used it on 8 different vehicles, and it handled almost all of the special functions with ease. It's simple to use, reasonably priced for the purpose, looks good with a nice case, offers great after sales support, and has a wide range of compatibility. This did not do what I expected it to do, which is simply diagnose my system in a Ram truck. I returned it, and now having a problem with a refund from this company. I get the run around from them and Amazon and they have the returned scanner but don't want to refund the money, dont buy from this company. ... show more

Very thorough reporting of vehicle systems. On first use it basically paid for itself by helping quickly narrow down an issue that was fixed with simple repairs and avoided time testing and tracing various systems. Having built-in TPMS functions is very handy. Frequent system updates ensure reliable performance, and emailed questions are quickly answered. First year of updates is free, but I wish subsequent updates were more reasonably priced for non-professionals who need the functionality of this tool but can’t justify the cost like a professional shop. ... show more
