A little smaller than I expected but very sturdy. I have a 95lbs female Doberman who loves to pull and this had her under control fast, the compression helps if your dog jerks the leash a lot. Highly recommended.

Now let me tell you, i’m not an expert on leashes. I know there are better and more heavy duty leashes out there, but from every leash i have ever bought in my entire life this leash makes my other leashes be put to shame. I have a 63 lb pitbull who is massive and Loves to pull WITH EVERYTHING HE’S GOT. If you never walked a pitbull then let me tell you THEY PULL HARD. Which is why you see pitbull owners being dragged. (I’m training him to stop pulling real soon) but even with all the pulls this leash really held up all day with no problems 🙏🏽 I’m in Love with it! The only concern i had was the seat belt buckle unbuckled itself when i seen my dog run out the door when i opened it for him. Might have been me not pushing it all the way or my dogs big heavy feet unbuckled it but i was a little cautious. Other than that for people who don’t have trust in this leash, just buy a industrial carabiner and snap it on the leash to your dogs collar (make sure it’s not those cheap colorful ones. Get an actual heavy duty one. This is for your dogs and other peoples safety) don’t cheap out. I put a carabiner on mine because my dog Loves pulling. It’s a safety precaution.     • Springy and fun for walking little dogs, too!

This is the greatest leash ever!! We have a little frenchie puppy and I know this is for big strong dogs but it's perfect for her. She gets so excited and tries to zoom up to everyone she sees. With a regular leash she was basically clothes lining herself everytime (we hadn't found a harness that fit her when we first got this leash). With this she can run super fast and she just sort of springs backwards and doesn't get hurt or choked. The reflective stripes are nice and bright at night. We do a lot of night walks since we live in Texas and the heat is a lot for her during the day. I love the seat belt buckle, too! I didn't realize it had that but now I don't have to use all kinds of tricks to keep her buckled in the car. She goes everywhere with us and now she just hops in the back seat, I attach the leash to the harness (we finally found one to fit the petite princess 😂) and buckle her in. She can sit on the seat and look out the window but she can't get on the floor or out the window. Everyone is safe. We had to wash the leash and I don't know what the recommended method of cleaning is but my kids got hold of the leash and 😣 Ugh...it was a mess. But I put it through the wash with a load of towels and dried it on low for a bit and sun dried it the rest of the way and it looks good as new. I would buy this again! ... show more

OMG where has this leash been for all my dog owning years? It has literally every feature I've desired except maybe the handle could be padded a little better but even that is a minor complaint! We've taken my mom's lab puppy for at least 20 walks with this leash and feel it'll last for many, many more walks! Especially loving the built in seat belt clip, so convenient to transfer your pup to and from your car! ... show more

This is a wonderful leash, I have a German shepherd female pup that is 12 weeks old and weighs about 40 pounds she is huge and super playful but since she is so young she gets spooked from things she is unaware of and this leash helps me control her with out having to use other options like a choker (which I don’t like). This is a great leash I am using it with an ICEFANG harness and they are making walking her so much easier. With a collar and leash my pup would pull so hard that she would choke herself and now she is much calmer and easier to work with outside. I have a beagle, and you wouldn't think that I needed such a durable leash. but I do because he pulls so hard for a dog of his size. He also chewed through all his other leashes and we needed a new one. I liked this one because of the bungee. I do notice that when he does pull the bungee catches and takes a lot of the pull. I also like the poop bag clip it comes with. I did have to replace the chain with a keyring because the chain broke off. I walked half a mile before I realized I lost the poop clip, I walked back to find it because let's be honest, no one likes to carry their pooches poop. ... show more

    • Doesn’t stop pulling, but does take the edge off.

After getting particularly bad hand and arm cramps from my dog aggressively pulling during walks, lunging at birds and rabbits galore - I started searching around for a more comfortable solution in anticipation of those moments. As an extremely high energy puppy, they’re bound to happen while we’re still training. By no means am I resorting to using this leash to just accept the fact my dog pulls and resign to being “done with it”. We’ve used a variety of tools ranging from gentle leader and harness (front and back clip). There’s no remedy to the leave it command, heel and loose-leash walking. We’re still working on all of it. I can honestly say, however, the spring of the bungee takes the edge off considerably when he lunges with it warning - I used to have a nylon double-clip leash and the leash is always taut. With this bungee leash, fingers aren’t straining as much to hold the dog back, and the dog bounces back too because he finds the tension of the bungee in combination with front clip harness uncomfortable as well. Look forward to reporting back and saying how he does once we’ve given this a few more attempts. ... show more
