A small area of the seam was open and the foam was visible. I sewed it up and is mostly unnoticeable. We still love it.

Not really as pictured- the fins are positioned weirdly, the shark is more hunched over, and the pile of the faux fur is so long it obscures the eyes and teeth. (It's like a weird fluffy dolphin.) Overall, it's pretty frumpy- and not in a cute way. It's a bit like a sad beanie baby. With it being this small of a plush, I'd expect better quality control for the price... or at least the shark to be positioned as pictured. (In some images??) I'm little reluctant to give him as part of the gift he was meant for, tbh. :/ If I can acquire another plush shark by tomorrow, this dude is heading to the return bin. Probably fine for baby/toddlers, but not worth $10, imo. ... show more
