Got this cute thing for my wife because lions are one of her favorite animals, but she prefers lionesses over their much-more-common-in-toys maned counterparts. It is frustratingly difficult to find lioness plush toys instead of male lions - even toys billed as being "cubs" frequently have manes. So when I saw this one I knew I had to get it for her. It's of a decent size, maybe twice the size of a beanie baby and with weighted paws that help it pose nicely. It's very soft, though the paws are a little firm, and the build quality is very good, no loose threads or scuffed fabric. Amazon's review prompts want me to say what the sound quality is like, but the one I got has never made any noise, and I don't think they're intended to. I'd say the quality and rarity of a toy like this makes it well worth the money. It made a great surprise gift for my wife, too - she loves it! ... show more
