You have to be careful moving it by securely grasping the bottom of the bin as the unit is top heavy and will tip over easy. There's no assembly required except to remove the packaging. All that's required beyond that is to plug it in. It's then ready and activates when you feed paper into it. You only need to pull out the bin to empty it but it's extremely easy and obvious. It also works exactly as I needed it to. I highly recommend it. Needed a shredder immediately, so was disappointed when I received this shredder with a piece broken off the back of the bin. I decided to keep the shredder, since it did work and was quiet. Was disappointed however that I could not contact the Seller about this issue.

So far, this shredder is working well. I've tested cards, mail, and individual documents. Everything is shredded up. It's not unbearably loud. My biggest complaint is that the top doesn't lock to the bin in any way. Also, the bin is super lightweight and the top shredder mechanism is very heavy.. wish it was more balanced. If anything happens within the first year, I'll update this review. ... show more

I haven't owned it long enough to comment on the reliability, but it seems pretty good so far. Also, I have no need to move it around, so I haven't attached the wheels, and thus have no opinion on maneuverability. But after two months of light use, I'd rate it as pretty good, and a reasonable value for the money. Not great, but pretty good. It could be a little quieter, and work a little bit faster, but so far it's been able to shred anything that I've fed to it, and it's reasonably easy to use. It works well with the no-draw-string 13 gallon garbage bags. If it lasts a few years I would probably raise the rating to 5 stars. ... show more
