Easy to put up for me with one other person to help. I had to "hem" one side a little, just folded over the excess and tacked it down, doesn't effect it's function. I love it. Closes perfectly for me and makes my garage much more usable keeping all the mosquitos out. I ended up putting a regular sized one of these on my back door out of the garage for airflow, and the garage door one gave me less problems than the door sized one that I had to return multiple times bc magnets not working. I hope you have the luck I did with this garage door screen like I have had if you get it, bc I really do love it. Tacks it came with work fine for me but I may reinforce it with some actual screws and washers like others, but for now I don't really see the need. My little dog stays inside of it, until he sees a cat, he will definitely dart his 5lb tail right through it, just so you know. ... show more

This screen is awesome. I waited a while to do a review. It's been through 3 nasty thunderstorms and this thing hasn't moved. The magnets stay together perfecting in the middle. Like others, I feel like maybe a few more pieces of weights on the bottom might make it perfect, but it's not a deal-breaker at all. I would recommend this to anyone fighting bugs during muggy hot summer days. We are seriously over it. We are ready for the fall and this will be great to just keep open and not have to worry about flies coming in. Very happy with this. As for the tacks that come with it, I only used 2 them. I put one on each left and right bottom of the door frame. That's only because they way the paint was chipping off the velcro didn't stick to good. It was about just 1 inch from the concrete driveway that didn't stick, that is why I reinforced with he tack so it just doesn't move ever. I didn't use them anywhere else, I'm not sure I need to. I expected it to be sturdier. The velcor sticks, but I reinforced mine with staples. Small tacks included don't seem worthwhile. Think the item is overpriced. I bought one in home depot several years ago for 20 and it was much better.

I replaced my sliding screen door with this and it was surprisingly successful. Easy to access my backyard through my patio sliding door with this mesh. No more worries for damaging the mesh by the kids and my older parents.
