These came well packaged in perfect condition, equipped with screws and easy instructions and measuring guide to level the screws. After 2 hrs of sunlight, they automatically came on at dusk and stayed bright for 5? 6? 7 hrs? I fell asleep! They were on all night. Great solar lights. I’m so pleased.

These lights have unrealistic requirements to be used where I live and I expect where you live as well. The average day is just not sunny enough. I have the larger size solar fence lights and having owned them for over three weeks they have not stayed lit for any longer than 2 hours. I The lights are installed on a unobstructed fence facing to the south as to get as much sunlight as possible. Unless you live in the desert I don’t expect you could have them get enough direct sunlight to work that meet your expectations. Other solar lights (garden lights) I have can charge on semi sunny days and even overcast which I why I took a chance these lights would still work but not these lights. I did not take the manufacturers warning serious enough. To be fair the warning they have in the product description about needing direct sunlight all day must be 100% realized. Real world conditions where I live in Pennsylvania don’t give enough Sun time. Not enough charging time because of cloudy days or even the amount of possible daylight in the winter make these lights not acceptable. I suspect I will have to use non solar lights to meet my expectations. My included pictures show I mounted my test lights in an unobstructed location. ... show more

Good price, great product. Wanted to add some lighting to my slump stone pilasters and these are ideal. Adds a nice wash of light on the wall without being too harsh or overly bright. Would recommend to anyone wanting to add some accent lighting at a very reasonable price.

These lights were very simple to install. I was surprised how well the area was lit during the night. My fence is roughly five feet tall. Surprisingly the lights stay on for a good amount of time. No complaints so far.

Concept is great, but the false description of longevity for the solar charge is very inaccurate. After purchasing the first set, I purchased the second to finish the project. Have the on 6 by 6 post with zero shade east to west sunlight. Now, for solar, you do not need direct light on the panel. Well, if you have that on your home, that is. Reviews say they last 30 hours before needing a charge up. Mine are lasting 3 or less hours. Really a huge waste of money to China. I will be moving on to another product soon as these are very very disappointing and a huge lie. ... show more

    • All have stopped working in less than a week

We purchased 16 of these lights (a set of 4 and a set of 12) for our new deck. We were thrilled with how the first 4 looked once installed. They are bright enough to light our stairs and they shine the light straight down, which is what I wanted. I don’t like the solar fence lights that shine in your face. It’s been about a week since I installed them and they are no longer working properly. They come on at sunset just fine but they all turn off within 1-2 hours. If I manually switch them off and back on, they stay lit another 1-2 hours. It isn’t practical to manually switch all of them on (x16 lights) on a nightly basis. I still have the set of 12 in the box. I’m glad I tested the set of 4 before installing all of them. If I don’t get a response from the company, I’ll be returning all 16. Updated to add that I bought four similar lights from another manufacturer and all four are working fine, staying on for several hours at night. I just contacted Amazon and they are refunding my purchase of these since they are defective. ... show more
