To look at it is really pretty. I loved the glass bottle and the dried flowers. But the smell was genuinely bad. I do not recommend the clean linen fragrance at all. Smelled like acetone to me.

It's packaged really nice and it's easy to wrap as a gift. I like that it’s neutral so I have a gift tucked away in case I need one for an occasion. Mine is on the counter in the bathroom and smells good when I go into there. Every week or so I turn the reeds so that they’re refreshed with oil on the ends. I like that it’s more environmentally friendly. I don’t like using the plug in type air freshener. While they may be convenient they’ll end up in the landfill. I just imagine how many of those the companies make, how many people use them and how many of them end up in the dump. Millions. With this I can get new reeds and maybe change out the fragrance oil, but I can reuse the bottle. And the reeds are biodegradable. ... show more

I'm always hesitant buying fragrances online, only because I know myself and I dislike a lot more out there than I like. These type scents (clean linen, sun-dried cotton, etc.) are usually safe bets, but I've gotten some that were very powdery and cloying, so I just wasn't sure. Thankfully this is nice and clean-smelling. Very fresh, not perfume-y. There's a slightly sour note to it when smelling just with the cork out, but it may be the material of the cork (not actually cork) or the dried flowers in the box - my guess is the latter since dried flowers do not smell good. And, while I do like that they include the real flowers for scent distribution, I think this bundle is a little boring and blah, plus they got crushed to fit in the box and can't be fluffed up, so they don't look nice like in the photo. I'm not sure I'll use them. Plus, I just see them as dust catchers. I was able to try this scent for a discount through Vine, but I'm considering purchasing a few for gifts this year. Price point is great for the 6.4 oz. oil (about $30 at time of purchase/review). ... show more

I honestly can't figure out if i like this scent or not. I'm leaning more towards not really. It's a very nice bottle and looks very elegant sitting on the counter but i wouldn't really describe the scent as clean linen. To me this scent smells more like a perfume my grandmother would wear. I've had it sitting out in our bathroom for a while to try and give it a chance to grow on me like a lot of other diffuser scents have in the past but i just don't think it's going to happen. This is just my personal opinion however so others may enjoy the scent but i just don't think it's for me. ... show more

The smell is not my favorite but I love the little bottle that comes with it. It looks very nice. It’s a nice set, I like that it comes with everything you need to start using it right away. I placed mine in the bathroom, it’s strong enough to fill the small room with a sandalwood scent.

The bottle itself is beautiful! I love the black reeds and the charm included to tie around the bottle. It is classy and I am super pleased with it; however, the scent was very strong, quite overpowering in fact. I normally like the linen scents, but this one was just too much. Don't let that deter you necessarily. Scents are different for different people. I may not care for it, but you may love it. It isn't bad, just not my cup of tea. It is more of a powder smell, which again, I normally like, just not this one. Saying all of that, I plan to pour out this oil and purchase a scent from a store where I can smell before buying, and refill this jar. It truly is beautiful!
